A filter from another company falls out easily.** A: yes the long filter stays in securely as good as the Dyson **Q: How often do ichange both filters in v8 absolute** A: I have been changing every 5 - 6 months which feels excessive but otherwise the vacuum suffers from suction issues even. **Q: Do I need conversation kit?** A: No. Straight swap for originals.
