Good quality
Very nice product, looks like it will do the job, did not install yet but I think it will look great on my Tahoe Pontoon boat.

Very nice, well made. Has a lot more mounting possibilities then it states. I am going to buy a few more. Looks nice on the boat.

Defective Product 2 out of 4
2 out of 4 were defective. Once attempting to secure the rod holder, the screw began to lock up causing it to cross threading and strip out the threading inside the rod holder itself. I waited 2 days too long to return the product.

Replacement of original is a great accessory
The first one I received had a seized screw and was useless, which was frustrating because I received it just in time for a holiday boating trip and could not use it. The replacement was quick and easy. Works very well on square pontoon rails. The rails on my boat used the smaller of the two inserts. I use it primarily to mount my larger Magma propane boat grill that is made to fit into a rod holder. It is sturdy and solidly made. Not flimsy. I recommend add a little lubricant/dab of grease, etc. to the machine screws to prevent any corrosion from salt water/rain just in case.

Installation problem
Finish and design good. Screws gall in pot metal. After loosening or removing them, they lock up. The square bar clamping screw, I was able to chase the threads with a die, but the pivot screw will not fully tighten and cannot be removed. Screws need to have anti-sieze before installing them for packaging.

Pontoon boat bimini top rocket launcher!
Absolutely beautiful product. Just like the other reviews said, the stainless steel bolt is a one time use unless you put some anti seize on it. Fit the rails of the bimini top perfectly. Way overpriced product, but it did the job.

High quality but time consuming to mount and remove
Quality material but cumbersome to install and remove. Too many components to deal with. 2 clamps, 2 screws, 1 Alan wrench, 1 rubber insert. I cover my pontoon so I have to remove these rod holders after each day. It takes to long to mount them and then remove them. I have dropped 2 screws overboard while mounting. High quality stainless steel but a simple crank mechanism without any clamps or screws would be quicker and hassle free.
