Q: Does this work with nikon p900?

Nikon P900 doesn't have a hot shoe so no. but it will fit a D3100 I believe.

Q: I got this mic and an adapter as my canon 1100d is a 2.5mm socket and it doesn't work with my camera. Is this due to using the wrong jack adapter?
