18 Inch Platform Twin Bed Frame with Storage Metal Bedframe No Box Spring Needed for Kids Tall Heavy Duty

This bedframe is so well designed. I have not seen anything that requires assembly with such amazing engineering in decades. The parts fit together easily and align without having to beat them together with a hammer or re-drill holes to get parts to align. Unexpectedly, the fasteners are high quality and screw together with ease. I'm 64 and have bad knees and bad back and I was able to assemble it by myself easily. All tools for assembly are included, however I would suggest you have a 5mm hex bit that fits your power drill/wrench and an adjustable wrench and rubber mallet. This thing is heavy duty and so the box is kind of heavy. I like the 18" height. With a 10 - 12" mattress on top it is easy to get up and down for old geezers like me with bad knees. This also gives you plenty of room to store stuff under the bed. There is a heavy duty center beam support that goes from head to foot board. The cross slats are slightly higher at the center support than where they attach to the outside edge rail. This is a brilliant design because it will keep your mattress from bowing or sagging in the middle which is common on cheap bedframes. The bottom of the post supports have plastic caps so it is easy to slide the bed around.. If you wanted to attach a headboard or footboard it appears that would be easy to do if your handy with tools. I got this to use in a spare room temporarily. The price and quality is amazing. I would highly recommend. For the record I'm not that easy to please so that's why I was blown away by this frame and it's design.

Love this game for a room and or studio!!! it looks nice. It fits easy. It’s easy to put together as lightweight is durable less for years. you can sleep really good on it and it’s very durable can sleep comfortably on it

Super sturdy, relatively easy to assemble - at first it looked difficult but I slowly placed all the parts our and then it was honestly really easy. I did it without a second person in probably less than an hour. I'm very very happy with this purchase. the very best part is getting rid of bed skirts and hello under bed storage. I bought the 18" queen frame without headboard access (didn't realize there was that option). I can't tell you how happy I am with the storage and now my pup and kitty sleep right below my head and I bought 4 big storage bins and then had to go back and buy 4 more! I have all my linens now under the bed in locking containers and still there is room for the pup and kitty. I just now decided to change my whole house over to this type of bed frame. I now bought a queen and king 14 inch tall frame. I'll have in a few more days. They don't have as much clearance under for big Rubbermaid bins but I'm looking at options. So happy I signed in just to leave a review for those that are on the fence. Love the frame and also love the clearance under the bed. I can now vacuum any time!!

Love how easy this bed frame was to put together. This bed is nice and sturdy. I love that it has a foot in the middle. I'm a size 16. My husband is also sturdy and muscular. We weight about the same and have no support issues. Also, very light weight. I put it together quickly and was able to pick it up to adjust where I wanted it to sit in our room. No box spring needed. The only thing I don't like is that we have hardwood floors and the feet don't have any sort of protection or covering to keep it in one place. We have two children. The older one can get up just fine. Our toddler is able to climb up, but we don't need him falling because the bed moved. I actually came on here to purchase caps for the feet and saw the option had popped up for a review. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Because I'm having to purchase caps. Even if it came with caps, I would have given 5. I feel like it would be great on carpeted floors. If we decide to change our guest bed I'd purchase this one again. Plus the guest room is carpeted.

I needed a smaller bedframe to fit in a smaller bedroom. I've had metal bedframes before, and hated how the mattress tended to slide around on top of the frame. This frame is very sturdy, and has a slightly indented area where the mattress rests, so it's impossible for it to slide around - perfect solution! I was able to easily assemble it by myself in about 30 minutes. Yes, a helper would have been great, but it can be done by one person. I was amazed that I could buy such a quality frame for so little money. My queen mattress fit perfectly in the frame, making it a very comfortable bed. The product was exactly as it was described in the Amazon listing. Best of all? I gained 18 inches of space in my small bedroom, compared to my old bedframe. Great investment!

I could either move the twin bed that we had upstairs that was made of particle board, or we could get a new bed frame. Initially I didn't want to get a new frame, but I started looking for them on Amazon. This one fit in our price range, and had some feedback that was positive. Even still for the price I wasn't expecting much, but we needed a bet for a room downstairs that had been my office for almost 12 years. This frame was easy to assemble and I couldn't believe how sturdy it is. It sits up off of the floor 18" so under the bed storage is easy. It has 6 legs so it is very sturdy, and had proven to be just what we needed down here. When our guest leaves the house, it will be easy to store so that I can move back into my office and when guest return, I can easily move into the den until they leave. This is the perfect bed frame for our needs and it's not very expensive. Easy set up makes it something that I recommend. Really nice addition to our house, and contributes nicely to the flexibility of a guest room / office.

Wow - this is a GREAT frame - assembles easily and VERY sturdy (I weigh 220-lbs) ... and with my girlfriend "on top of me" bouncing up and down - - - it is STILL sturdy as can be!

I was hesitant about how sturdy this bed would be, but it is actually really great. The slats all fit together perfectly, the instructions were very simple, and no hardware was required (although instructions do say an electric drill is recommended so that you can tighten screws as far as they go to avoid the squeaking some folks have noted in their comments). The storage underneath is awesome; in my head it wasn't going to be that much but I can actually climb under my bed comfortably now, so that is fantastic. I don't love sleeping close to the ground so that's actually why we bought this one, but with my 11 inch mattress we are about 3 feet off the ground, so not bad at all. I got the California King size, and it's a little longer than my mattress (maybe 3 inches). I'm not sure if that's a problem with my mattress or just how the frame was designed, to give some leeway, but I am okay with it. I'd rather have a little extra space than not enough! I love how sturdy it is, just watch out for the legs when your walking by. My husband hit his toe twice once we got it up, they are placed exactly on the end so very available to run into.

This bed was incredibly easy to build, took me 1.5 hours by myself and I was taking my time. Feels very sturdy and the quality is good. Not squeaky as of yet Update (2nd Oct 2024): still great, squeaks a little but not loud. I’ve moved twice with it and taking it apart and putting it back together takes 15-20 mins by myself

I'm very happy with this frame. It went together easily and my mattress has not slid on it at all. I love that it is up so high in order to clean underneath and to have some great storage space.
