Nice smell
I have never been to Ireland so I do not know how peat smells in their fireplaces. I found it quite nice and smell like a fire in an old fireplace, if that makes sense. It took a little longer than incense to get started as I used a lighter and lit one side of the cube. Once is started smoldering I blew on it and the embers spread. Did not have any problems and only lit it initially so no problem with multiple lighting.

Perfect size and scent
They are small, but you don't need them to be larger. They produce the perfect amount of fragrance and burn slow. If they were bigger squares it might be over powering. The peat scent mixes amazingly well with a vanilla latte candel.

Scent of Ireland in your home.
Having recently returned from Ireland, these peat incense squares bring the scent of Ireland right into our home. They can be a bit tough to light but once they are going they give a nice long slow burn and scent the whole house. Highly recommend.

This is garbage— will not light or stay lit without constant flame applied. Do not buy

Little pricey but smells like Ireland
Got this first as a Christmas gift. Ireland is my favorite place in the world and I love how my house smells like a pear fire all the time. Already ordered my first replacement and will always have a supply.

Messy, mini novelty
These truly are mini. I didn't deduct for that as it's described that way and I just didn't visualize how mini. The (2) cardboard houses and green bag are a cute presentation for a unique item, but the quality isn't very good. The bag is fraying at the top. The peat crumbled. The plastic bag holding it broke. Nothing is holding the cardboard folds of the houses closed, so you pretty much have to refold them and tape them into shape. Because the item itself and all the packaging was "coming apart at the seams", dirt was all over - even somehow on the outside of the mailer! I haven't tried burning it yet, but I hope scooped up crumbles will work okay. It's a fun gift, but it presents more like something you would get at a novelty/party store for $10.
