Ease of use and blue tint so you can see your sketch.
Very useful for masking highlights - like the blue tint so you can see your sketch. Easy to remove...

Best mask for watercolors!
Love this brand of mask for keeping my whites while watercolor painting. Easy to apply and remove. Does not stain the paper and though it instructs not to leave it on your paper for an extended period, I've left mine on for several days and still removes easily and no staining.

This stuff works great and is an amazing tool for my watercolor paintings
This stuff works great and is an amazing tool for my watercolor paintings! My only complaint is when I got it, it was quite a bit dried around the lid!

Very happy with this purchase
I purchased this masking fluid after having watched a number of watercolor videos. I had not heard of this brand before and had only used Winsor Newton and Daniel Smith products. This fluid is fluid. It is much easier to work and allows you to create thin and straight lines. I had much more control. The fact that it is a pale blue gray makes it easier to see and remove. There is no residual on the paper because you can't see where it might be hiding! I don't think the color is throwing off my color perspective because it is so pale and relatively neutral. I will definitely buy this product again.

Good Buy
I bought this product on the recommendation of one of the previous reviewers and I must say, I have not regretted buying it. Its a good product to use. Just you need to be sure that the paper needs to be absolutely dry before applying it. Secondly, one must also ensure that the masking fluid absolutely dries before peeling it off from the paper else it would take off the paper along with it. If you are not certain about the paper being dried after applying this, use a hair dryer and once the paper is absolutely dry, use your hand and rub it gently on the area where the fluid has been applied. More details on how to use a masking fluid are provided on Youtube. Terry Harrison demonstrates how to apply and remove masking fluid. Hope this helps.

It is a slightly grey, very thin fluid and sets quickly, rubs off very well after the painting is well dried. I have used it once.

Great stuff.
Best mask I've used. I like the slight green color of it, which enables me to see where I've been. I ruined a painting in a recent class with a mask that had no color. Pebeo is the superior masker, IMHO.

The best masking fluid that I've tried
I was using a white masking fluid until my watercolor teacher let me try some of her Pebeo, which goes on gray. The color makes it easier to see where it's being applied. It was far superior to the white stuff. Here is the method she taught me:(1) Use an inexpensive brush(2) Dip the brush in soapy water(3) Dip the brush in Pebeo and apply it to your watercolor where you want to save the white areas.(4) Clean the brush after you're done. The application of soapy water prior to the Pebeo keeps the brush from stiffening up.The Pebeo Drawing Gum dries at about the same speed as the white stuff and it took about the same amount of effort to peel it back off of the watercolor once it dried and had been painted over.

Molto bene
Il prodotto risulta molto liquido. Non ho avuto difficoltà nel stenderlo e il pennello è tornato nuovo . Non è vero che si asciuga in pochissimo tempo, mi tocca aspettare per dipingere ma non sembra male.Aggiornamento: mi son trovata davvero bene ottimo prezzo e qualità.
