Create your own pill pocket and my dog loves the taste.
I love this stuff, you can create your own size pill pocket and my dog just gobbles it up. I have tried others and I find that unless I have to give my dog a smaller pill, then I am forced to use two pill pockets jammed together, but with this stuff I just use what I need and it's soft like play doe so it's easy to use. My dog loves the taste. Even when he has eaten the wrap off, the flavor is still on the pill, so he will eat the remaining pill without my having to put another around it. Great stuff. The only down side is that you have to dig it out of the container and I use my hands so it gets under my fingernails. Being a vegan, I prefer not to have that smell on my hands. But, otherwise it's great stuff. And while I do not like the smell on my hands, I do like that the smell is strong enough to keep my dog interested enough to eat the whole pill or capsule. So, it's a win win.

Product works, my dog loves it!
I have a 14YO Pomeranian who takes 5 small pills twice a day. She was refusing her “meatballs”, cream cheese, and PNB. Pill pockets don’t work, she spits out the pill and eats the treat. I was desperate so I went on Amazon and found this product. It’s more expensive than PNB but I was desperate. She loves it! I don’t have to use much, just enough to cover it. I’m on my second jar, bought the double for a better value. I use it in the morning, she’ll take two or three with cream cheese and the rest with this. She takes PNB in the evening. PNB is sticky, this is tacky, more pliable. It hasn’t bothered her stomach or given her diarrhea. Definitely recommend for giving meds.

Effective for administering medication even with my skeptical shih tzu
I have used this product with three dogs, and all of them have loved it. Two were happy to take pills, but having an easy paste to reach for instead of finding a treat or a piece of cheese made giving them their pills much easier. My third dog is not food motivated and would find any pill hidden in a treat then spit it out. But with this pill paste, he takes his pills like a champ. It helps that I practiced giving him this as a treat for several days before I ever tried to sneak a pill into it, but now he doesn't even consider the pill paste suspicious, which is a rave review from my very skeptical shih tzu.

Amazing!
This stuff is amazing! We have tried everything under the sun to get our dog to continue taking her many pills. There are several that are quite bitter and once she breaks one of them it's game over. This paste is the consistency of Play-Doh and smells like real peanut butter. You can wrap as much or as little as you need to disguise the pill and encourage a fast swallow. Wish I had known about them earlier!

A TOTAL GAME CHANGER
I am a first time dog owner at 71. I own one of the pickiest, but cutest dogs ever. Ohhh she's really adorable and melts my heart. There lies the problem, I think I unwittingly spoiled her a bit. I cannot tell how often I've had to change her diet, her treats (my vet said she is a good little manipulator lol) in order to get her to eat. I also had to start trying different methods of administering her monthly Simparica Trio. As a pup she like it and would just consume it, but for whatever reason, she developed disdain towards it. I tried putting it in her food, she would eat the food and leave the pill. I tried soft treats to no avail. I tried pill pockets, but that lasted maybe 3 months before she was onto to me. She wouldn't even eat them as a treat. What a waste of money. However, she does love cream cheese and that was a huge success. The drawback is that cream cheese comes in an 8 ounce container and has to be discarded after a week or so (per manufacturer recommendation). So that has been a waste of money if we don't end up consuming it (we don't eat cream cheese very much). But now she is going to to have surgery to spay her and she has to take medication before and after the surgery; one pill and one capsule every 8-12 hours. She cannot eat the morning of, so I was concerned about giving her the cream cheese. I decided to search Amazon for a more manageable way to administer her medication and came across this stuff. Omg, a true game changer. I gave her a sample as a "treat" (she knows what treat means), she kind of checked it out then gave it a lick and then gobbled it down and then came back for more, clearly loving the taste. So I gave her a little more, again success. Then I wrapped her Simparica Trio into it and she couldn't consume it fast enough. It is actually soft and pliable enough to wrap a minimal amount around a pill or capsule unlike the cream cheese which does not have that amount of pliability. It is a bit pricey, but it's certainly worth the peace of mind for me to have in order to administer medication to her when necessary, especially with her upcoming surgery. It's also a bonus that it is is for dogs since they have a tendency to be lactose intolerant, which always concerned me about the cream cheese. At this point, I highly recommend it.

Perfect Wraps, Sneaky Dog
This product works well, but my dog is a little too clever. He needs three pills in the morning and five at night. It worked perfectly for the first two days, but by day three he was leaving the pills in his dish. The wrap-a-pill wrap around the pills beautifully, but he still managed to detect them. I’ve now started covering the wrapped pill with a bit of mashed liverwurst, which helps. I’ll keep using these because they do make things easier, and I may try another flavor. If I do, I’ll update this review.

The absolute best.
I have been using this product everyday for the past 2 and a half years and will continue to do so - it's worth every penny. I have 2 dogs, one of whom takes daily medication. She's an anxious dog and the first 2 months she was on her medicine were awful. It was a daily battle. We tried everything and nothing worked. She would eat food around the pill and spit it out. She was suspicious of every treat and it was a challenging time. We tried pill pockets and other brands of pill paste and they didn't do the trick. We got a tip about putting the medication inside of empty pill capsules and using this pill paste. It worked like a charm. I guess it disguises the taste enough for her. We have been using it daily since then and she loves it so much that she comes running when I yell, "medicine time!" Not only that, but my second dog comes running too and gets a pinch of it as a treat as though he is getting meds as well. Seriously a great product. It's soft and doesn't dry out yet it's not overly greasy. You can pinch it off to use as much or as little as you'd like and the dogs both love the taste. It's a win all the way around.

Better deal than pill pockets, and they work - for a while
Easy to use and a better deal than the "pill pockets," but my dog is "done" with all manner of tricks to get him to take pills. He has severe allergies and takes antibiotics and anti-itch medication. He will not swallow these, and he is wise to my tricks. I wish he would reconsider because, for a while, it was so easy to get him to take pills. However, those days are gone. If your dog isn't continually having to take pills, they should work nicely. If your pup is having to contend with long-term prescription medication, they may become tired of it, just like anything else. Or maybe not, it might just be my dog that has decided he doesn't want to "do pills." If you need to get a dog to take pills short-term, these work perfectly; longer term, my dog says "NO."
