General, Organic, and Biochemistry: An Applied Approach

The book is the right one. It does the trick. I did rent it but it came in horrible condition. Not sure how Amazon keeps track of the condition of the book. I do not want to ve penalized for the bad condition it was already in when I got it. Overall though, it gets the job done.

Ok, so I totally cheaped out and bought the lowest quality one available. This little devil showed up and is in perfectly usable condition. There are no stuck pages, unreadable parts, issues with being able to use the book. Also, the previous owner wrote all over the inside of the book, taking notes and solving problems. This book is like the potions book from The Half Blood Prince, filled with quick notes and answers.

Clean and good condition, but with coffee or tea spots. Anyway, nothing to complain.

I purchased a new textbook because I needed the OWL access code and was under the impression that it would be included. When rentals were still available, the website stated that access codes and any supplemental material were only included with a new textbook. I received it today, and there is no access code. Apparently, if you need the access code, you must purchase an alternate edition, the "hybrid version." This information is not disclosed on the website, but it is provided in the textbook (I have attached a photo for reference), which is completely backwards. If I had known this information beforehand, I would've never purchased this textbook. So long story short, if you need the OWL access code, DO NOT purchase this textbook.

The book give easy and thorough explanation of chemistry! You can start learning chemistry from this book, very well written!

This book provided very detailed explanations of concepts taught in organic chemistry and the practice problems were very helpful when it came to passing a test!
