BUBBIES MOCHI Vanilla Mochi Ice Cream, 7.5 OZ

Expensive for what they are, but really tasty!

I tried mochi for the first time the other night. It was from a sushi place in an Asian part of town (where I live). It's an awesome little dessert, so I added some to my order. These are great! They differ a little from the ones in the restuarant. The mochi part is thinner, denser, and not covered in powdered sugar, but there is more ice cream. So it's a slightly different experience to eat.. I'd say I liked the sugary mochi better from the restuarant if I had to choose, but I enjoyed the ice cream in these more. Super great option though. I eat it slowly taking little bites. Since you don't want brain freeze and you have to chew some, it slows you down. I was satisfied after 4, which is only 370 calorites. Not bad!

I had to take some convincing at first, but after a few I was sold. They are in the higher end of ice cream prices, but are perfect for a snack and help with portion control. The only draw back for me at first was the outside texture. It was like eating fondant, but if you let the ice cream melt a little before you eat it, it melts perfectly in your mouth.

Usually the icecream is really soft and tasty but recently the mochi has been tough. I think the last batch wasn't made properly? But Usually it's really good.

Whether you want just a bite of ice cream or several 😏 these are absolutely tasty! I've had all flavors, vanilla is my fav but all are good.
