Is there any issues with warping like the other mousemats?

Mine warped after a few months. It hadn't been moved at all. It made it useless so it can still be an issue with this mouse pad.

How is this different from the original Firefly?

Different location for the wiring so you don't bump into it. The lights are alot brighter and more exposed so you see more of it.

Can i connect it to my series x and change the lights?

If your talking about xbox s/x then no... You need the app on your computer. It will light up but random color without the app
