Great product. I’m very cold natured and wear under my dress slacks. Not noticeable at all. Very comfortable and stays in place.

Let me preface my review by informing you that I work in commercial coolers and freezers with temps of 41- 37 and 0- -20 ( respectively). I got these after buying a pair of similar product from a well known manufacturer ( for twice as much money) with less than satisfying results. I bought a Medium ( 6'1" 200 lb ish). As expected- waist was perfect but legs were a little baggy ( similar to other reviews). Nights 1- 3, I worked in the coolers. I didn't notice any warmth or coldness. I didn't even realize thier presence. Night 4. I worked in the freezer. I got in the freezer. Again didn't notice any extra warmth or cold. I was comfortable working in the colder environment. Didn't evrn realize I was wearing them. Once I got out of the cold...... I felt a lot of heat coming from my legs ( especially in the femoral aspect ( inner part)). Granted, it wasn't uncomfortable and the heat dissapated rather quickly. I repeated the action several times, with equal results. I fell in love with them. Bottom line= you want to stay warm with something you don't realize you're wearing, and don't want to pay twice the money for some gimmick that may or may not work......... buy these

Figuring that (as of writing this) this winter is probably gonna be very bad, and having an outdoor job, i needed an upgrade from my casual thermal pants (if we even wanna call it that), and this DELIVERS. I wore it under my usual work clothing, and it did its job at keeping me comfortable in the cold. It was practically very light to wear and keeps a practically invisible profile under your work clothes. Would recommend

Bought these for light hiking and snow blowing the property. Ordered an XL so they would fit me length wise and waist wise (33-34" inseam) they're a teeny bit shorter than I expected, a little baggy on the calves and thighs but a bit tight at the waist. Which is weird. I'm not as slim as I used to be, but I have large, muscular legs and an average waist(35-36in pants). For the waist to be tight and the legs to be a little roomy is very, very uncommon especially for base layers. I almost always have a loose waist and tights because of the size and length. That being said, they're fine enough. I'm not doing yoga in them. I can bend over and stretch and crouch down all fine with little to no restriction in movement. I would say my biggest gripe is them being called midweight advertised for pretty cold temps and they're more light-to-mid weight. I wouldn't use them for a trip in the snow for more than maybe 2 hour or so at a time. I'd use them if I worked outside and made frequent trips in doors or inside of a vehicle. But I wouldn't use them to sit in a blind and hunt for 8 hours. Which I think is fair considering their price point. I'd recommend preparing to order and return at least one pair to get the sizing right. Other than that, not too bad. I like them and continue to wear them.

Kept my husband warm in the ocean in the platform.

I just bought these for my husband who builds ships in the northwest and is always working outside in the very cold, windy elements on the/next to the ocean. We have tried other long johns/under clothes to keep him warm and they all have helped to some degree but he still complained of freezing his A** OFF. I got the whole Carhartt set thermal pants, shirt, and cold weather work boot socks. I followed the reviews stating they ran a little small and bought him (XL) which is one size up on the pants, they are a smidge baggy but will shrink down in the wash (he says they are already perfect) i bought the shirt true to size due to another gentlemens review, my husband typically wears a Large shirt so i got him a Large, fits perfect. Anywho, we got them and they are thick AF and durable. We typically love Carhartt products Beanies, jackets, work pants and coveralls. They are steardy and durable for hard work, plus its cute that my kiddos get to match dad. But I was worried when it came to these that for the price that i was just paying for name and not cold weather blockers. But my husband says they F'ing ROCK. SO WE WILL BE BUYING ABOUT 2-4 MORE SETS (pants,shirt,and socks for $76.??) AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO THOSE FREZZING YOUR BUTTS OFF JUST TRYIN TO MAKE A LIVING!!!! LOL or for those who just want them for liesure wear too. LOL 😂

Bought for my teenage son to go ice fishing!!! I love Carhartt! They worked great for him! However, I ordered two sizes as he is 16 and grows every 72 hours and wasn’t sure of sizing. I missed the window for returning the medium size. Are there any other options for returns, exchanges or credits? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Love them. Warm in cold weather (single digits) but not too hot indoors. Not slick or skin tight. Carhartt quality.

Keeps me warm when I go outside in winter. Fits me well and I’m 6’4 The big feature is that the inseam is 33” long although I could have used an inseam of 34”. But I’m satisfied.. although I find the price a bit too high. So I won’t be buying more and will look for alternate suppliers..
