A couple minor issues but still worth the purchase.
Giving 5 stars because the brushing action is strong (but not too strong), and my teeth feel really clean. (Way cleaner than with a regular toothbrush.) Theres a couple things that bug me though. The “timer” that prompts you to move to the next quadrant is tactile. The brush head quickly pauses a few times and messes up my groove and feels kinda unnecessary. But that’s JMO. Next up is the handle. I wish it was more grippy because it’s kinda slippery, especially if you slobber a little bit while using it, which apparently I do. LOL. Lastly, the charge is lasting me about 5 days, max. I can let those little things slide because it’s really good quality and works way better than I expected.

Nice, smaller head works great
Seems like a great toothbrush. The smaller, round head seems to clean better and fit into all spaces better. It took a little getting used to the stronger electronic movement, but then I liked it. The battery has good life. It lasts at least a week for me. I'm glad I chose this model.

Crooked, Overcrowded, Yellow Teeth
Let me start this review by saying that when I was younger, much to my parent's dismay, I neglected to brush my teeth. I would brush them but not as often and as thoroughly as a child should. This was partly due to my very bad gag reflex and partly due to the fact that it felt painful (?). Anyway, I've had yellow teeth my whole life (I'm 29) because of it. I never got braces (thanks again gag reflex) but my parents tried everything to get me to have better oral hygiene and to have a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Now that I'm well into adulthood, my smile being so yellow, and also very crowded, was starting to bother me. I knew I had to give in and fix one or the other. (To be clear if you have crooked teeth don't feel like you have to change yourself just for society - after 29 years, I can say that I truly wanted to change the yellowness purely for myself). I've gotten healthier in almost all other aspects of my life. I decided to make the plunge and buy this in hopes it would help get my teeth cleaner and help reduce plaque buildup. Not just for aesthetics, but for actual oral hygiene. So, I've used it twice a day for 3 days so far and my brother commented on how "white" my teeth look yesterday evening. That felt very good to hear, not gonna lie. I think this toothbrush is amazing for the price. I love how tiny the head of the brush is. It fits into my small, overcrowded mouth perfectly. I was worried that it would take forever to brush my teeth since I wasn't doing the work, the toothbrush was. However, it takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 3 minutes if you're extra thorough. It allots 30 seconds to each section of your mouth, it will do a variation in the vibration to let you know when the 30 seconds is up and to move to the next portion of your mouth. It doesn't automatically shut off after 3 minutes (that I know of) if you want to go back and do another section of your mouth, which is nice. As for the pressure sensor on the toothbrush, mine does not work. It doesn't indicate any color or anything. It just appears to be a normal electric toothbrush. I may have gotten a "bad" toothbrush since it's not working, but to be honest, I truly just wanted something that would do a deep clean and this toothbrush does that. However, all the other reviews mention the sensor working so if that's something you're looking for, I would still highly recommend this toothbrush. I think mine might just be a dud in that department. The charging took several hours to be full on the first day. I keep it on the charger to ensure that it is always fully charged. If you don't have your charger with you and you need to rely on it without it, I'm told the battery lasts up to a week. Which, is very impressive for a $50 toothbrush. Amazon says that it has Bluetooth connectivity but I do not see any indication of that on the boxes or in the manual. My parents bought me an electric toothbrush when I was little, but I was too young to appreciate it. Now that I'm older, I think this is a great option for any person of any age. I do recommend it!

A great value that comes with power
This is the most powerful electric toothbrush I have ever used! I ordered this toothbrush to replace a manual one that I had. My dentist recommended an electric one so I picked this one up. This is amazing! My teeth have never felt so clean When you first get it, it will come with no charge, so make sure you charge it. In the box, it includes the toothbrush and a charger. You don’t get any extra heads so make sure that you order some. When you do use it though, you will love how clean your teeth get! My teeth have never felt so clean! I use it every day. It is waterproof, so you can take it in the shower, which is perfect for me since my mornings are rushed. It is enjoyable to use and to hold, it’s terrific! One thing I really enjoy about it is the two minute timer. It keeps me accountable to actually brush my teeth for a long enough time, and it doesn’t allow me to brush for a longer time than I have to. It pauses every thirty seconds, so you can brush each quadrant of your teeth for thirty seconds, so you can give one section of your teeth the attention it deserves. With the pros out of the way, I do want to talk about a few cons. There are way too many settings to use. I know that it’s nice to have many options to choose from so we can pick what we want, but you don’t need three different ways to brush your teeth. Most of the time I just click the on button and don’t bother with the other settings and turn it off when I’m done. The other settings aren’t even that different. You can see that in my included video The battery life is also not the best. Some people have reported getting a week or two’s worth of battery, but I’m finding I have to charge mine every five days, which isn’t a dealbreaker, but I travel a lot, so it’s not ideal. Speaking of not ideal, they use a proprietary charger which really makes this toothbrush not travel friendly. You need to take so many chargers with you for your phone and laptop. Those might have the same charger, like USB-C, but this doesn’t. So, you need to take this charger separately. Another thing is that you need to really keep the toothbrush, charger, and any surface it touches, clean and dry. Otherwise, wherever you put this, bacteria will start to build up. If you don’t clean your charger every other day, bacteria will start to build up and it’s gross. The included picture doesn’t do it justice, and that’s just on my sink. Despite my complaints, I really enjoy this toothbrush. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other electric toothbrushes, it has lasted me a long time, and it’s powerful. I do recommend it!

Simple, effective and excellent value
I’ve always liked Oral-B electric toothbrushes and this one is exactly why. It is simple, clean, easy to use and does the job extremely well without a load of unnecessary bells and whistles. Battery life is excellent, it feels solid in the hand, and the whole thing is just nicely designed and straightforward. I also like that it is easy to keep clean, which sounds like a small thing but matters with something you use every single day. Most importantly, it gives a really thorough clean and feels like very good value for the money. I’ve used more expensive electric toothbrushes before and, for what I actually need, this does the job every bit as well. Really happy with it and would absolutely buy another one.

Lasted 12 years before I had to buy it again! Superior clean without the hefty price.
After an incredible 12-year run with my first Oral-B Pro 1000, I finally bought it again! The battery on my original brush finally bit the dust, and toward the end, it would only stay charged enough to get me through 24 hours of teeth brushing (if I was lucky) before dying. However, I loved the performance so much over the last decade that replacing it with the exact same model was an absolute no-brainer. Here is why this brush is a classic: Hygienist Approved: My dental hygienist once told me that it really doesn't matter how fancy or expensive an electric toothbrush is—any solid electric toothbrush is far superior to a manual brush. This model gives you that elite, professional clean without making you pay for unnecessary, over-hyped tech features. The One Minor Con: If I have to name one downside, it is the noise. Even brand new out of the box, it does sound a bit like it might be powered by hamsters while it is working. But just because it doesn't sound whisper-quiet doesn't negate the fact that it is a remarkably solid, heavy-duty toothbrush. A Note on the Color: The color is fun, but the listing is a bit misleading. I thought I would be getting a mint green, but instead, it is definitely a powder blue. I much prefer green to blue, but eh, whatever—it still cleans my teeth perfectly! If you want a proven, durable electric toothbrush that will last you for years to come without draining your wallet, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Oral B. A great electric toothbrush
This top of the line toothbrush is very good. It has a variety of settings and does a great brushing. The on off button is a bit hard to find at first but now is easy to use . Lots of great features

Get the Pro 1500 instead.
Update #2: I know the Pro 1500 isn't on Oral-B's website. When I bought the Pro 1500 nearly a year ago, I asked Oral-B why it's not on their site because I was concerned I had just bought a discontinued product. They assured me that it was in fact a brand new item that they had just released and that they were going to add the Pro 1500 to their site "soon". I realize that it's nearly a year later and they still haven't done it even though they are still manufacturing it, but I have been to their site several times per month since then and I can tell you that I'm honestly not surprised it's not on their site yet. I get the impression that anyone could do a better job with their site up-keep than whoever is doing it now. I have even noticed that it's kinda somewhat falling apart. Some elements no longer work and haven't worked for months. Their products are fine, they just need better people to handle and operate their website. Update #1: When I wrote this review, the price was the same for the Pro 1000 and Pro 1500 (including both the black and white Pro 1000s). Today, the price for the Pro 1500 nearly $20 more than it was when I wrote this review, and currently close to $30 more than the Pro 1000. [Original review below] I bought this to replace a very new Vitality. It was a *HUGE* upgrade over the Vitality, but then I saw the Pro 1500 and learned from Oral-B that it's quite superior. The Pro 1000's specs are: - 1 cleaning mode: Daily Clean - 8,800 oscillations per minute and 20,000 pulsations per minute on the Daily Clean mode - A pressure sensor that's supposed to just stop the pulsations when it's triggered - A pro timer that hesitates the motor once every 30 seconds, and 3 times every 2 minutes - A NiMH battery (old technology) - A battery life of 28 minutes (7 days, 2 minutes per day 2 times per day) - A full recharge time of 22 hours - A green charge indicator LED that blinks while charging, but stays off when it's not charging - A red battery level indicator that blinks a few times upon on/off if the battery needs to be charged - The CrossAction brush head The Pro 1500's specs are: - 2 cleaning modes: Daily Clean and Sensitive - 9,900 oscillations per minute and 45,000 pulsations per minute on the Daily Clean mode (these speeds are faster than any I've seen so far in the specs of any of Oral-B's electric toothbrushes, including the Genius 8000 - they all seem to top out at 8,800 oscillations per minute and 40,000 pulsations per minute) - 7,400 oscillations per minute and 33,000 pulsations per minute on the Sensitive mode - A pressure sensor using a red LED that turns on when the pressure sensor is triggered - A pro timer that hesitates the motor once every 30 seconds, and 3 times every 2 minutes - A Lithium Ion battery - A battery life of 56 minutes (14 days, 2 minutes per day 2 times per day) - A full recharge time of 12 hours - A green charge indicator LED that blinks while charging, but stays off when it's not charging - A red battery level indicator that blinks a few times upon on/off if the battery needs to be charged. - The CrossAction brush head The Vitality is extremely basic: - 1 cleaning mode: Daily Clean - 7,600 oscillations per minute. - A timer that hesitates the motor 3 times every 2 minutes - A NiMH battery - A battery life of 20 minutes (5 days, 2 minutes per day 2 times per day) - A full recharge time of 19 hours - No charge indicators or battery life indicators - Mine came with the Sensitive Gum Care brush head In comparison, the Vitality seems like a cheap generic electric toothbrush. Don't consider buying it. When I upgraded to the Pro 1000, it was amazing. I wanted to burst at the seams and write an extremely rave review, but then I learned about *and ordered* the Oral-B Pro 1500. After using it, I can tell you that the Pro 1500 is *FAR* better than the Pro 1000. I honestly feel the Pro 1000 should be discontinued and no one should ever buy it. I mean really, the Pro 1500 is only $10 more right now and it destroys the Pro 1000. I would have given the Pro 1000 4 stars instead of just 3 if it had a Lithium Ion battery. They charge faster and last longer without charging. So yeah, I am not sure I would recommend the Pro 1000 if you can get the Pro 1500. The Pro 1500 is a much wiser purchase. I'm *extremely* happy with mine. It blows the Pro 1000 out of the water.

Excelente cepillo

Great cleaning, versatile options for brush heads, charge lasts, but only 1 speed setting
One of my best purchases. I used to clean my teeth with a manual toothbrush, thinking that if I spent enough time and diligence, it would provide the same level of cleaning as an electric toothbrush. I was wrong. After my very first cleaning with this device, I felt a level of clean teeth only experienced when I leave the dentist's office after a cleaning. And it wasn't just a subjective feeling. When I returned for my 6 month cleaning the next time, there was barely any tartar or plaque build up - all had been removed by this toothbrush. I also noticed that my level of bad breath and tonsil rocks declined significantly. Turns out a manual cleaning is nowhere near as good as this machine. I have purchased this toothbrush for familty and friends, telling them it has changed my life. I wish I had this device as a child! The toothbrush comes with interchangebale heads, so that you can pick the one that works best for you - sensitive teeth, hard brush, whatever. Oral-B makes these products available, but you can also purchase no-name brands as well. It does create quite a bit of vibration in your head that I found a little scary at first. However, despite having sensitive teeth and gums, the toothbrush never harmed them. The toothbrush ahs a pressure sensor that stops once you put it too tightly against your teeth to prevent this. There is supposed to be 3 levels of speed for the brush. Mine doesn't seem to have them - has shown in the video. It's not that I don't know how to operate it - the toothbrush I purchased for my family (in white instead of pink) had those features, as advertized. In the end, I don't feel that having those 3 levels are important, except perhaps to get used to the sensation of vibration in the initial phases of use. The toothbrush comes with a plug and charger. It seems t o keep its charge for 4-5 days (I only use this toothbrush once a day for 4 min). Then the little light at the bottom of the toothbrush turns from green to red, alerting me that it is time to charge it (so I can usually travel without the toothbrush charge if it is for a trip that is less than a week). The charge itself happens very quickly - it seems to be charged within 20 min. I highly recommend this spinning toothbrush. It has changed my mouth's health!
