WOW!! Super durable, handle lock, 2 inch bite, and a slider to limit that if you want. This punch is fantastic! If I had paid $30, I'd have still been thrilled. This is easy to use because your hand won't slide off. There is some sort of mechanical action under the handle that suddenly pops the punch through. My husband, an engineer, is duly impressed.

This is a fantastic tool. I make toys for companion birds. This toy was recommended by other toymakers and lives up to all the praise heaped on it. This model makes 1/16" holes. It has a 2" "throat" for punching holes away from the edge of materials. There is an adjustable stop on the throat which permits punching multiple items at the same depth. The tool had a chamber which collects the material punched out to make the hole. This chamber is securely fastened but easy to open for emptying. The sole weakness of the tool is the absence of an indicator to help with "aiming" the punch to make a hole in the desired spot. I affixed a tiny strip of paper to the tool's "head" and marked the location of the punch to assist with punching holes in the correct position. The cushioned grips are easy to hold and punching holes requires little effort. I've used the tool to punch holes in paper, however I tested it on a piece of suede leather to confirm the claim that it punches sturdy materials as well as paper.

Functional and able to adjust. Works for heavy material like cardboard.

I have purchased an extra crock eyelet setter and punch tool. I have not used this new item, and I hope to use it soon. It looks to be made very well with high quality. The price was just right, and I need to learn how to use it, and it takes time to get familiar with a new tool.

I bought it for punching holes in flat canvases to add a hanging wire. What I loved about it; - very powerful, really does go through most anything....even the canvas I bought it for. I even tested it on a penny....it worked! I don't recommend it! I won't do it again because i don't want to make it dull and I actually have other things that work better, I just wanted to see if it would work. - I LOVE the 1/16" size! Great for running a wire for hanging. HOWEVER....the drawbacks (huge for me) - they brag about precise hole placement. NOT! Yes, you can set the depth from about 1/2"-2" but, I need it to be about 1/4" or less. so, no control there. And there is nothing that helps the left/right placement. - it is impossible to see exactly where the punch will be ... there is no way to see it from the back because there is no hole like most punches... you really have no clue, or control. It is pure luck if you get it in exactly the right place. - you are limited in the thickness of what you are punching into by the opening between the top and bottom of the punch. I have to wiggle the canvas in because it is so snug. You could easily punch a hole through many sheets of paper IF there was more space in the opening...but.... that spacing is another reason you can't be exact with placement..you can't see from the top either So, if exact hole placement is not important to you, and you want to punch through things like chipboard, or tin cans...buy it! You will love it! If placement matters, forget it, save your money.

This does exactly what I need it to do. It punches tiny holes into thin wood and tin items. Do note, this one has a tiny hole 1/16th so make sure it will work for what you need! But it works nice and is easy to use! Tough to figure out exactly where the hole is made but not the end of the world, just takes a little learning.

Mis manos ya me dolían, por el trabajo de estar presionando las perforadoras en mis proyectos. Uso mucho papeles de gramajes altos y las crop-a-dile me han ayudado muchísimo, pues cortan distintos tipos de materiales con una facilidad que asombra y que se agradece. Ya no sufro al perforar, la calidad de perforación es muy buena. Recomiendo comprar ésta y la de 1/4, o todas las que encuentren porque ayudan muchísimo tanto en la vida cotidiana como si trabajas con esto.

Did not realise that the punch hole was not normal size. Cannot use it as supplied.

Estaba espectante de recibir la perforadora: es de muy buena calidad, muy bien la profundidad que alcanza al meter el papel y el tamaño de la perforación es bien pequeña pequeño..
