VERY GOOD KEYBOARD DRAWER FOR THE PRICE
I found this to be a very well made keyboard drawer especially for the price. I have a 17" flatscreen monitor so the weight on top is not an issue. I pressed down on the top to see what its limitations are and it seems to be extremely sturdy. I have an oversized keyboard and it fits fine inside the pullout drawer. The slides seem to work well and it is deep enough to bring the keyboard all the way out (some I have seen do not pull out far enough to expose the entire keyboard). There is a plastic tray that the keyboard rests on that has a built in recess in front of the keyboard section for paperclips and 2 pens. I placed a gellpad over this. It is also high enough to incline the back of your keyboard and still be able to close the drawer at this incline. There is not room for a mouse which is the only downside but for the quality and features at this price you can't have everything.

Well made. Exceeded expectations.
Sturdy metal construction. Smooth runners on keyboard tray that locks tray in the tray out position. ABS tray with room for mouse storage, 2-indented pen/pencil slots, and a small indented space for paper clips or whatever. Indentation for the keyboard (approximately 10"x20 1/2") accomidates larger ergomatic keyboards. Additionally there is a wrist rest on the keyboard tray. The keyboard drawer was engineered to meet my needs and more.

Great addition to any computer set up...
A friend gave me one of these nearly 20 years ago for Christmas. It held up (other than a few cracks in the keyboard tray) through multiple moves and daily use over those years. When it was finally time to replace it, there was nothing else to do but get the exact same thing - I love it just that much. It's nice to see that some things don't change and it works just as well as the original one. Keeps my monitor at the right height and my keyboard where it's most comfortable for me (and out of the way when I don't need it). Can't ask for much more.

Great while it lasted...
This was great while it lasted, but the drawer slides busted EASILY and spread greasy ball-bearings all over my office floor.FWIW, it holds my monitor at a very good height and stores the keyboard out-of-the-way.I'm not real happy with the above-the-desk design, though as the keyboard is actually a bit high.Next time I'll look for a drawer with space for a mouse pad.

Super Functional, Super Ugly with Potential
It's a very sturdy metal stand with a wide and, pretty deep, tray that has a smooth glide. But it's REALLY ugly. I decided to cover the metal in contact paper that resembles marble and now I love it. I would definitely buy it again.

Works well for vintage IBM PCs (5150/5160/5170)
I was looking for an old fashioned keyboard try for my vintage 5160 (IBM PC XT) just like in the old days and this one fit the bill for a reasonable price. The riser itself is painted steel, while the tray feels like (slightly flimsy) ABS plastic. If this were a daily use item I’d be a little worried about longevity, but as a vintage computer display stand it’s great, very similar to the ones I remember from the 80’s. Especially for the price this is a good deal.

Sturdy No-Frills Keyboard Drawer
I was looking for desktop keyboard drawer that was just big enough to hold my full-sized keyboard. I seriously considered the 3M Adjustable Desktop Keyboard Drawer but it was just too big to fit on my desktop. This one fit the bill perfectly, and for about $125 less. The unit consists of a sturdy metal frame holding a plastic keyboard tray. The drawer rolls smoothly on ball bearing slides. Metal frame hold my monitor with no bending or flexing of it of any kind. The tray is only wide enough for keyboard and is not designed to hold a mouse. There’s only one thing negative I have to say about this keyboard tray. When you slide the tray all the way out little metal prongs pop out lock the tray in the fully extended position. You have to push them in simultaneously to unlock the drawer to slide it back in. Some people may like this feature, but I personally find it to be a bit of a pain in the butt. The Bottom LineIf you are looking for sturdy desktop keyboard drawer this one deserves your serious consideration.

Great solution for your home office
The media could not be loaded. I was afraid this would be too big for my desk, but it fits with room on the side of my desk for a monitor. It is deep, but I still have plenty of room in back for the modem and router. Fits a standard keyboard with room for a calculator. Pen holders and a little dish for pins/paperclips. I placed sticky stuff on the bottom to keep it from sliding off. Great buy.
