Good price on 4 bulbs, worked fine
bulbs worked fine " after " a few twists and turns, has to be in the recess just right. I have an older floor lamp that worked fine with these bulbs.

I wasn't sure if these were what I needed for my floor lamp, but they were.

My dimming
They fit perfectly and they do work but they are not dimming. I wore gloves while touching the bulb as to not get oil on it. They have a very bright light and I'll wait and see how long it last.

Good Brightness at a Great Price!
These bulbs put out just the right amount of brightness for anyone needing to do auto mechanics at night or in a dark garage. I also like that they don't produce nearly as much heat as the 500 watt bulbs. Though, they still do get hot because they are halogen bulbs.I use these bulbs to revive an old work light I picked up at an estate sale. Installation was a snap.HINTS:Do not touch the bulb's glass with your bare fingers as the oil on them will cause the bulbs to burn out sooner — wear gloves. If you do touch the bulb's glass, you can clean it with glass cleaner and a soft cloth — just allow the bulb to cool off first.

Nice, bright bulb
I couldn't find this bulb at my local hardware store, which was surprising.I ordered this bulb to see how well it worked.It is nice and bright. It is dimmable for when I want to watch TV in low light.

Two out of four bulbs were broken on arrival
I needed a single bulb but had to buy a set of 4 instead - nobody sells one bulb reasonably priced. It arrived in a regular envelope - no bubble wrap protection, nothing. Two bulbs out of four were broken. Since I needed only one I let it go. For some reason, it didn't work right in my light fixture with a dimmable switch. I bought a bulb from a different manufacturer and it worked the same way - the light was going darker and lighter all by itself. I had to remove the switch and now use it at the highest setting all the time.
