Loud, clear and excellent quality
I bought this one because it looked aesthetically more suitable for home use than the Soundcore speakers of similar size. I am not a sound expert but the bass is very powerful and the sound is very clear. I have not yet turned up to full volume as 70% volume was scary enough. You will not find a speaker of similar price which can match this one. Most of the reviewers on YouTube agree. I would definitely recommend this device. Soundcore again never fails to deliver.

Absolute gem of a speaker!
.... Or more like a hidden gem. Anker have long been recognised for their power banks etc, but don't seem to get the recognition they deserve for their audio products. We had a Denon Envaya 250bt for a few years until the battery died recently. Fantastic sound quality but very poor battery life which we lived with due to the fabulous audio. We've also had a pair of Anker Soundcore Bluetooth earbuds which have been brilliant so when the Denon died I decided to look at what Soundcore had to offer in terms of Bluetooth speakers. Reviews for this unit were good so one was ordered, under the expectation that the audio would be acceptable, but nothing more. Well..... Once you've tweaked the EQ in the fantastic app this think sounds absolutely amazing, in fact so good that it blows the Denon away. Clear, crisp but still retaining some warmth it sounds unbelievably good inside and out, and seems to be built like a tank. Very portable too so great for hols etc.So, don't be put off by the less well known branding, this thing is incredible value for money and a dream to use and listen to.

Could not be happier! Plus Linux info.
It seems that many of the bluetooth speakers on the market are pretty decent. Having read a lot of reviews on different products I didn't see that many negative comments.I've used Anker products before and been impressed. This Soundcore Motion+ is no different. For it's size it delivers great sound. It looks good, too. I bought the perfect speaker for me.I use Linux Mint 21.2 and and a fairly oldish laptop but set up was so simple. To get the most of the speaker I installed pulseaudio-equalizer-ladspa, for those interested. Set it to Perfect EQ and for me is was perfect. If you adjust the volume on the speaker the slider in sound settings also moves with it. Perhaps this is normal but with Linux you sometimes never know. So, if you're a Linux user you could go ahead and buy this with confidence.I've seen others post about getting a graphic equaliser app on your phone, maybe you can use the one in VLC, also. So that's the next thing I will try.

Nice sound (with some reservations), great quality, recommended.
Lovely clear sound, especially on vocals and uncluttered tracks. Bass is impressive for the size. Like anything this size, it struggles a little with very complex/busy tracks as soon as any bass gets thrown into the mix. Spoken voice is excellent (unlike the more 'boombox' style small BT speakers). Built quality is great - weighty, nicely finished, discrete, robust. My only reservation (and the only reason I returned and eventually settled on the closest Bose alternative) was that I found the sound stage quite restricted. Even in a small space (I wanted it for use in a small/medium sized room used as 'home office' plus a camper van, this was noticeable, and the (even smaller) Bose manages it a lot better. Still an impressive little unit though, and I stick with their teeny 'Soundcore Mini' for travel use. For reference, I listen to almost all genre of music, from classical to hardcore deep house and trance, and a lot of spoken word (radio 4 or audio books).

Technically good but...
Now the company released the annoying starting tune with the firmware version 39.39 (very easy to update from the app) I think it deserves 5 stars, because the very good sound for the price, good battery life and quality of the app.The only "problem" is it doesn't notice you when the battery is low (the led is on the side away of your eyes normally) and suddenly it turns off. Other speakers warn you when battery is low avoiding any surprise. As a fix for this I made some mirror with a sweetener tablet pack and a piece of the reflective inner side of a crisps bag, and now I can see when the led turns red noticing me the battery is low (in the pics).

Solid Performer
This is my 3rd Anker portable speaker. They are well designed products with good battery life. This model is good at detail and ambience. However, apparent 12 hours use from one charge fails to beat my last purchased model of 18 hours. The audio is somewhere on a scale about midway between clinical and warm. My preference lies with the latter.
