Horande Replacement Key Fob Cover Shell fits Lexus ES GS GX is LS LX RX SC

Took me less than 5 minutes to replace and saved me a couple hundred dollars! Sooo grateful I found this item. I watched a YouTube video because it got tricky sliding the bottom part of the key but I used some tools for jewelry making and it was just enough force to line up the pieces without damaging it. Overall simple to use and only thing I need is a vinyl Lexus decal to put on back like the original.

One day, my key fob just kinda exploded on me out of nowhere as I was turning my key to start the car. I found these replacements, and it was a cinch to put together! It took no longer than 45 seconds. And now I have a fully functional key again!

Overall this was a good purchase, but it it a bit hard to assemble. First off you have to remove the metal (only) key part from the old fob. You will need something like a vice-grip to wrench off/break the plastic to get to the metal key part. Then sliding on the metal key part into the included plastic holder is also difficult as it is very tight and does not seat very well. It requires quite a bit of force. Once you have dealt with the metal key part, the rest of the assembly was easy and this saved me about $800.

Perfect fit for 2006 lexus rh400h. My plastic key shell came apart. Simply swap the anti theft and buttons into the new shell and press the plastic piece over the key blade until the screw hole aligns. Snap the other side and install the screw.

These shells help solve the perennial problem of the Lexus plastic key case breaking. However, they don't fit very well. These have a plastic collar that fits over the key blade and is meant to fit inside the case. The collar provides extra sturdiness by distributing the key torque over a wide area, taking stress off of the shell. The collar doesn't fit inside the shell very well, and requires some filing down to make it work. Once I fitted the collar to the shell, it became apparent that the shell was not dimensioned properly for the remote module that fits inside. Once the clamshell is closed without gaps, the buttons on the remote module remain recessed excessively, requiring awkward poking of the fingertips into the recesses to actuate the buttons. Good basic concept -- poor implementation. Tip: If your key breaks, you can still start your car: Put the key blade into the ignition as usual and turn it while holding the handle close to the key-hole. The blade will be hard to turn without the handle; watch your fingers or use pliers!

This product states it is a replacement for the Lexus RX300, it is close but not quite. The key fob casing will not fully close, as shown in the pictures. The metal part of the key will have to be ground down a little bit and the hole re-drilled if you want it to close properly, or at all. I used it with the case not fitting properly, and upon turning off the car I could not get the key out of the ignition. The new plastic key fob is too close to the ignition and you cannot push the key in far enough for the ignition to release it. I had to find a mechanic to come out and get the key removed.

Both plastic key fob cases for my 2009 Lexus RX350 cracked apart. These got me back going again for about $10 shipped to arrive before I left in the morning. Replacing the shells is easy. It only takes a couple minutes. You lose the Lexus logo on the original shell, but that's not a big deal. Being able to drive your car matters more.

This is an excellent key fob replacement. I got a 2 pack because you never know I might drop my keys one too many times and crack it. But I have been using is for a while and it is excellent. My last fob I got from the dealer was going to be over 100.00 but, this one is sturdy and reliable so far and if I need another one, I will buy from this company in the future.

Feels a bit cheaper than the original, but for the price it's actually fairly good so far. The Last aftermarket replacement fell apart, so let's hope this survives longer

key fobs are good but it is not done properly and correct size is not , key does not fits in and when i tried to push it in it broke useless really it was waste of money , i had to brake one side and just improvised still wat a rubbish size
