As advertised..easily average -10dB gain
We live in the most rural of places (Mountain top - 2030 ft above sea level). Have an ATT MF279 for all our Internet connectivity.. Always had four bars and about -89 dBm strength from local towers (1/2 to 3 miles away on ATT bands 2, 12, 66). The MF279 has done a good job for the last few years with no supplemental antenna assistance.I am an engineer so I have some tools available to me others may not know about or have access to.A few weeks ago with our ATT cell phones and MF279, we started connecting to towers we have a line of sight on, but (because we are on a Mtn) 30 miles away.. ATT recognized the issue ...said there was a local cell handoff problem they were addressing (why we aren't connecting local towers we have in the past..).. but after 3 weeks we bought this as a stop-gap due to the issue(s) they are still trying to fix.Very pleased with it, as although I am still hitting towers far away as we speak, speed tests and dBm are greatly improved. Before on a local tower, I'd get 5 to 7 MPs. Now I burst far above that (12 to 20) on both download (most important for a basic user versus a self-hosted eCommerce site which also needs decent upload.) Getting -93-90 dBm ..Can't wait to see what I get when they finally fix the issues =0 Should be -78 to -85 dBm range).Should have probably bought this earlier. It is mounted outdoors, but only window height (Did I mention we are top of a 2k Mtn? ). Bottom line ...well worth the price.

Appears to work, but not as well as advertised
I used this antenna for an LTE access point. The antenna is on the roof, while the access point without antenna is in an interior closet with bad LTE reception. The antenna improved the signal quality marginally. The antenna does improve the signal a bit (from 1-2 Bars to a solid 2 Bar out of 5).

4g router for camping
We use this on our camper to get reception on our 4g/5g router. It’s made a MASSIVE difference in speed and reliability. Easy to hook up and great value

No way this is a 10-12 dBi antenna!
I bought this initially for a neighbor that was under a metal roof and having trouble getting a signal on his LTE router. It helped him out a ton at the time, but after a few months, he changed internet services and no longer needed the antenna. I bought the antenna back from him to try on my LTE router. My router has indoor paddle antennas (MIMO) and sits about 10' above ground level in a sunroom.Ran this antenna on a pole about 16' above ground level in a test configuration, just to see what an outdoor mount would do.The results are in the pictures. First picture is from my indoor paddle antennas, and the second is from this antenna. These were taken just a few minutes within each other, during the middle of the day with clear skies. It's pretty easy to see that this antenna pulls in an inferior signal with higher noise levels than my paddle antennas.Your mileage may vary, but I'd guess for $40, what should I expect?

Looks to be quality...... schools out on whether it is a benefit
I bought this antenna to improve reception on my cellular router. Attached to a mast (no included) and extended 18-20 ft I found no noticeable difference in internet connectivity or speed or available band dB than with the paddle antennas mounted directly on the router. I have tried this at several locations and several different towers. Speedtest and dB reading were the same regardless of antenna type.At least for my application this antenna seems to be of no benefit. I will update this review after several more months of testing just to make sure its fair.

Good product and it really works!
It matches very well with my Netgear Nighthawk M1100. This antenna does an awesome job at increasing the signal strength and maintaining a connection.I'm very happy with it.

Perfect Solution
Dual leads that are weather tite to the antenna so no extra sealing needed in connectors.

Well, it's definitely an antenna.
It's an antenna, probably the nicest thing I can say about it. It sends and receives signal. But it doesn't do a very good job. Out of the box it felt very light. The metal base bends easily, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your needs. The included cables are probably 12-15 feet long, didn't bother measuring. Installed on a wg826, stock dual antennas got 50-55% signal inside my home. I spent over an hour walking around every inch of my second story rooftop trying to find anywhere it would get above 40% signal with no luck. You could probably make a better antenna out of flesh and aluminum foil. If I could go back in time I'd definitely remind past me that if it's cheap it's probably not worth it.
