This is my 2nd purchase of these great lights from this seller. My first purchase went flawlessly, meaning after hanging the lights and charging they worked just fine and are still working. However, after I received my 2nd order unfortunately, I got sick and could not put the lights up until after the 30 day returning mark. After putting up both strands, and several day's of trying to get the lights to work, I had no luck. So I contacted the seller via message telling them my situation. They sent back something for me to try which I had never heard of before. The off/on button is not like a toggle switch so you'll know when the unit is on rather you simply push the off/on button and hear a click. So the solar panel will not charge unless it is in the "On" position. So they instructed me to allow them to: Charge in the sun for a couple of hours Then take a towel or something to cover up the solar panel with (simulating dark) to check if the lights are working or not If they are then you know the off/on switch is in the proper position If not, then click the off/on button again, rinse and repeat After following their instructions, both of my strands of lights still did not work, so they sent me a replacement within 2 days Great customer service, I highly recommend buying from this seller!

Came back to update my review. These are the best solar string lights I've used yet. They were wonderful over Christmas, giving us beautiful, twinkling colored lights throughout most of the evening. Now, I've switched back to the steady white, and didn't have to change out anything. Highly recommend!! I WISH this company would make these same lights with white wiring, rather than green, so that I could use them on our archway. ____ Previous review So far I'm loving these lights. I have 2 fir trees out in front of our house, and I've always kept white solar lights on them throughout the year. Then, at Christmas, I have to string colored lights as well, which is a pain, especially when taking them down, as they get tangled in with my white lights. I've had really good luck with the white solar lights, as they last a long time, but the solar colored lights just don't last long enough and are too dim. I've ended up having to use electric lights, which is a pain. Decided to give these a try, and I've been impressed with the white lights, which are bright and last for a good while. Now, however, comes the true test, as I will be switching to colored / twinkling lights for Christmas... so we'll see if they continue to perform. I'll update my rating and review as more is revealed.

Checked the lights before putting both sets up in tree, both sets worked. 2 days later only one set worked. The solar cells are on the ground for easy access so I changed the batteries as suggested, The DEFECTIVE set did not work. Company sending new set. THANK YOU JMEXSUSS

I waited a couple weeks to review this to give them a chance. The first day they were great. They stayed lit till past 11 p.m.. Then every day after that they'd stay lit for 30 minutes to an hour. So I finally realized which direction the sun was coming from and moved the solar panel thing. Still only stayed lit for about the same time period but in all fairness it's been cloudy in New York. So I still gave it another chance. I have one set on my porch mixed with led electrical lights so it's not as embarrassing when they don't work. Then I wrapped the other set on a front tree. The front tree, what a disappointment. Today I decided to rearrange the lights on the tree after the panel has been in direct sunlight for a fully 24-48 hours, just rearranged the wiring because I thought it could use improvement on the tree. Well . . . now they won't work AT ALL. This literally just occurred. It just got dark outside and I thought maybe I accidentally turned them off when I rearranged them - no. They just simply stopped working altogether. Very disgusted, not to mention it's embarrassing. But I'm gonna go ahead and buy LED electrical lights for the tree. Don't waste your money. UPDATE: They're so pretty that I had to come back and update. I kept them up like I said, and after I took down my other x-mas lights (the electrical ones after the holiday) I decided to keep my fairy lights up because they're fairy lights and they can stay up year round if you feel like it. They did end up working again. They're harder to stay lit on cloudy days. And I think what caused the problem before was that we had a lot of ice around that time period, but thankfully the problem corrected itself. They're gorgeous when they light up, so even though they don't stay lit long on cloudy days it's worth it - that' show pretty they are when they're lit. Plus you're not wasting energy, win, win. I only took away one star for cloudy days. When they're lit they're five stars.

I have bought a few sets of these so I have some that are older than others but so far they’re all doing well and the colors are very true and brilliant and I think anyone who purchased them for what they are would be extremely happy. They have different modes so Your preference should probably be there. Photo at dusk so it’s a little dark, but in order for the solar to work I had to wait.

Ordered these 2x bc one string of the 2-string set did not light correctly & I returned that first order (return was easy). Second order came quickly, but again, one string did not light was well as the other. I kept them anyway and used them for the July 4th Holiday weekend. They were used to decorate our community park and looked nice on both sides of our gate while they were working. One string always dimmed before the other and didn’t last for the remainder of the week. Only one string is lighting now. Disappointing.

Solar lights are the best invention! They are so easy to use and the best part is…no electricity so no having to worry about finding an outlet which means no electric bill! I have some for Christmas as well because honestly, they are easier to put up and just as good as regular lights in my opinion. The only con I have so far is it has to be very dark before they come on and it would be nice if they came on like at dusk while it was still a little light out.

I purchased 4 sets of these lights in warm white to light up my deck's railings. Overall I absolutely love the way they look, they're a really nice bright, warm white as described. They look perfect on my patio and they're exactly what I was looking for. But the reason why I'm giving these 3 stars is because one set has completely stopped working after only one month of use. I purchased these and set them up on June 16th. Today is July 16th, 30 days later, and unfortunately one of the sets has already completely stopped working. It stopped working right after a good rainstorm which is what I'm assuming caused that one set to fail. My deck is in direct sunlight all day until sunset, so it's definitely not an issue of solar panel placement. I think this was just a faulty set. I love the other 3 sets but I'm disappointed that one has stopped working. I expected them to last at least a year or two but now I'm not so sure. Now my lighting looks weird and I wasted my money. I will most likely purchase a new set from another manufacturer.

I bought a set of 2, 3 years ago and still going strong, decided to purchase another 6 and they are fab! 1 of the sets 1 light didn't work so I contacted the seller and the replaced within a week! Great customer service A***
