Q: How many hooks does it have? Can you change the number of hooks?

4 hooks and no. The hooks are what they are not meant to be removed.

Q: Will this work with ww weight cotton? Like peaches and cream cotton?

Yes, it will work with WW, but I haven’t used it with Peaches n Cream. I’m using it for my scraps, most of which is WW and acrylic. Others are bamboo, nylon, cotton, or a blend. As long as there is enough weight to free the hook cover before the hook grabs the yarn again, it will be fine.
