These Vivaplex 5 gram plastic pot jars are absolutely perfect for so many uses and have become essential in my daily routine! They are just so CUTE! They are smaller than I imagined even though I knew the dimensions, but they are exactly what I needed! Think eye shadow containers, not blush or even lip gloss ones. I am also really impressed with the packaging, not the shipping packaging, but what was in that which is also in the amazon product picture and in some of the pictures that I shared with this review. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's really nice, compact, sturdy, and easy to store. I'm also really impressed with the quality of the jars themselves, they are made out of plastic, but it seems to be thick so I can't ever see any of them cracking, much less breaking! Also, one of the biggest concerns that I had before buying was that the jars wouldn't be secure. Since one of my main reasons for buying them is so that I could put some in my bag that I carry around all day, then the last thing that I would want is for them to open up in my bag and spill out lose things or get whatever I had in them all over everything in my bag. Luckily, that is not the case at all! They are very secure, not that they are hard for a person to open or anything like that, but the tops twist on several times before you make sure that they are on good and snug. I bought this item for two reason, one selfish (I need some) and one not (some are going to be a gift for my little sister). ~Unselfish Reason~ My little sister has a major obsession with makeup. When I moved out of my mom’s house, she turned my bedroom into her "beauty room" as she calls it, which just means that she has so much makeup that she couldn't fit it in her own room, so it's now wall to wall in my old room. She also has all these pallets of makeup and often complains about how when one of the colors break, it messes up the other colors by mixing with them. And she gets upset when one of her favorite colors break and the pieces of it fall out accidentally every time she opens the pallet, wasting most of it. I figured that these would be really helpful. I could actually use a few for the same reasons now that I think about it. Also, since my sister is always doing some experiments with her makeup, I thought that she might like some of these for that as well. ~Selfish Reason~ If you are like me than you like to keep medication on hand in your bag such as Excedrin, Tums, and your wonderful allergy pills in case you forget to take one in the morning before you leave or in case you find out that someone you know is suffering and you would like to share (I just really like being prepared). However, if like me, you are tired of having pills spilled all over the bottom of your bag because the bottles will just never stay closed, then these are what you need! I was also tired of having those huge bottles take up so much room in my bag and tired of them making all of that noise when the pills rattled around. Now, I have some of my pills in a few of these little jars tucked away in the little zipper pouch of my purse. They take up almost no room, don't make any noise, and aren't in the way when I'm digging around for something else. I can actually buy a much smaller purse now that these have saved me so much space! Another plus is that with these tucked away in the little pouch, unlike the giant pill bottles, they won’t go flying or rolling out if I knock over my bag! All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it. Not just because of the usefulness of the item, but also because of the outstanding quality that this seller has provided! If I ever need another item that this seller provides, I will hands down go with them, that's how impressed I am with my purchase!

I have used these and other sizes of this type of container for years to store and organize my (mostly seed) beads. These are the best for me of the 5 gram size because, 1. they are a generous size and 2. they lid is clear. I bought another brand that was this size once and the lid was opaque which is annoying when looking for specific colors.

These work well for what I purchased them for. I bought them for eyelets and brads and they work great. A few were cracked but overall -- I am ok with that.

I just started making my own lip balm. These will be perfect for my first few batches, as I experiment with different recipes, and need small containers to use until I see what recipe works best for me. As it turned out, I had to throw away a dozen or so because of my own mistakes. The price is reasonable enough that I didn't waste a fortune. These would be good for samplers for a small business, but I don't think the quality is good enough for a product that is being sold. The material of the jar is flimsy, and when I tried to screw some of the lids on, if they weren't lined up properly, it caused the tiny cracks in the lid. This happened on 2 out of the first 8 I used. As long as you are careful about screwing on the lid, and don't try to force it, it fits fine. I like the design of the lid and bottom of the jar-- it has a flat, slightly indented area where a round label can go. By my measurements, a 3/4" round label should work perfectly on the top and/or bottom. Since I'm just experimenting, I wrote on the lid with a Sharpie and it worked fine. Once I have my recipe perfected I plan on buying slightly bigger containers. This is truly a SAMPLE size, like the description says. These would also be good for party favors or stocking stuffers. I used the disposable pipettes to fill them and I had no mess on the jar.

These work well to give little samples of beauty or face products you want to share with others. We use these for Make & Takes when promoting essential oils like sugar lip scrubs. These are small - sample size. I don't think I would use them for lip gloss or balms as they are a bit small. Seem to be well made. The lids screw on and off with no trouble at all. Plastic seems sturdy enough. Will buy again when I need more.

These are very convenient but for thick liquids only. I was sampling my beauty line and found that the lighter the gel or cleanser it would leak. Especially with elevation changes. Not good especially for presentations. Not necessarily products fault, I think it should state what products work best like thick cleansers and not water based products or oils. If it did I missed it. Overalll though they were easy to fill and they tightly sealed. They are wide so you will need add a decent amount of product to have look like a good amount is in the vial.

OMG this was Amazing! First let's start shipping, Normally shipping takes a week from other sellers. This took 3 days! It came in a really nice package and had lots of tracking:) The containers are a little small but are adorable and easy to put in a purse or bag:) I use mine to make lipbalms or lipscrubs and it works perfectly!! We used these to make diy lip balms for gifts; they are a perfect size and look so cute!

I used this for my mandela painting. Sometimes I go from dark to lighter in some of my colours . I just put a little in each jar adding a lighter colour to give me a lighter shade

Nice little containers. But be warned, they only hold about a tablespoon or so. Great for lip gloss or small ointments. Look great, packaged well.
