best thing since sliced bread, but there is like this hook in the middle that as so many have pointed out you will need to remove. i have no clue why they put it there, why they didn't do it the right way, but you will have to remove it and when you do well you will void your warrantee, perhaps that is why they put it there in the first place, smart aren't they...

You get what you pay for.Let’s be realistic. Great product for the given price. Good quality for the paid priceThe video is misleading as the reel doesn’t stay Still on the floor when unrolling, you have to hold it to unroll it as the product too light. The other downside is you cannot use part of the cord, you need to unroll the whole cord every time, which is not a big deal to me as I need to use the whole cord every time. Over all, good budget product and it does the job

This is for Storage only not daily/weekly use.
In order to use the extension cord you must completely unroll it from the device. There is no way to use this for say a 10-20 foot job. The handle precludes letting the male end of extension cord extend from the roller. Shame on me for not seeing this, no excuse.Not for use in an environment where it may be dropped.Its just a way to store your extension cords.
