These are pretty good. They tasted good, but the price to quantity ratio was not very good.Seems a bit of expensive.

When I was younger Chicos, or dried corn, a New Mexico staple was readily available in local grocer's but sadly no more. So when I finally found them available on Amazon I took advantage and they meet my expectations. Pat of the reason is the brand, Los Chileros, is actually out of New Mexico where it originates from. No matter your ethnicity if your looking to make authentic South Western dishes this is a easy place to start with many recipes available on You Tube where your taken step by step on preparing this tasty nutritious dish.

Awesome!
Really good, fresh quality. Easy recipe included. I like to cook them along with my dried beans - they take the same amount of time to reach tender but just slightly chewy state. Fills the house with wonderful corn smell!

Disappointed
I was brought up with everything New Mexico so I know my chico’s. Unfortunately they are sour smelling/chemical. I was so excited to get them but missing that smoked smell and it was rotten. Probably wasn’t properly dryed before packaging. So disappointed. Will definitely trash them.

My husband can't find these in San Diego so we order from Amazon. He loves to use these to make beans. He's even considering getting a subscription for them. Reminds him of grandma's house and makes him so happy.
