Excellent way to carry an additional bag around. I travel for a living and my every day bag has a hook and the bag is being repaired.I bought this to get me through a couple of weeks with a standard carry on and a small bag attached to the hook.You can also attach another bag to free up a hand.** Pro'sGood build quality, easy to stow.** Con(s)The hook opening is very small, and thus a small hassle to loop another handle or strap.I would highly recommend this.

I have been using this strap for five years now. I take 3 international trips per year, so there is a lot of schlepping involved. I use the strap to attach my carry-on to my larger bag, so I have only one case to pull, one hand free. This is only until I check in for my flight, then checking the larger bag, but it still makes life a lot easier. And you can be sure that the instant I retrieve my bag upon arrival, the strap is the first thing I reach for.I have found the length of the strap to be just about right, and the collapsible hook is easy to use.I have been very happy with this little gem. Anything to make travel easier!!

This was a life saver for my most recent trip to NM by train. I use oxygen 24/7 and use a walker so could not pull my little suitcase and the oxygen...too much for me. But I had an assistant who placed the oxygen concentrator on top of my suitcase and secured it with the Travelon! She was able to pull my baggage and hers and I could use my walker while still keeping my oxygen on. This would be an incredible asset for anyone needing to pack one bag on another and have them be sturdy and not fall apart or tip over.

I find this strap a little on the long side, and when you shorten it as much as possible, it doesn't hold very strongly, so I sometimes end up with my second bag dragging on the ground. The hook is collapsible, which makes it a little difficult to use. I have a two handled bag, and once you get the first handle in the hook, the weight of the bag pulls the hook closed, and then you have to pry it open to get the second handle in. This snap-shut feature also makes it hard to get the bag off the hook, which is a pain when you're in a hurry and need to hop on and off the escalator. You definitely can't go down the escalator with the second bag hooked on -- I tried that once, and the bag fell off and everything spilled out. Not great.Seems very sturdy.

Getting luggage out of your hands, off your shoulder and securely onto your roller bag is a huge plus. I fly out of a regional airport so there is almost always a "hub" and the trek between gates can be long. And because I seldom check any baggage, I have a fully loaded roller bag and a backpack. Once you set your strap so that the extra bag is over the wheels of your roller bag, it's practically weightless. I won't travel without it.

As a flight crew carrying a bunch of carry on I'm happy with this strap . The strap is adjustable but full stretch is still too short. If it could be longer this strap will get the full 5 stars. However, it does the job and allows me to have a hand free whilst travelling. Also the build quality seems to be good. Will see after a few more uses.

The quality of this bag strap is good, it feels sturdy, no complaints about that. I particularly like that the hook folds out to hang a second bag and then can be folded back in to close over the handle. It gives a bit more security. Not much but still...However, I bought this to attach my tote to my carry-on suitcase and it turns out that it does not work well for that. Here is why:- My carry-on is small and my roomy tote has handles with an 8" drop. Even when I make the strap as short as possible and attach it to the carry-handle, the tote still touches the floor when I hang it on the hook. Since my carry-on is a spinner, i.e. has 4 wheels, I don't pull it behind me at an angle but rather roll it in an upright position next to me which causes the tote to be in constant contact with the floor. Of course that is not a good idea. When attaching the strap to the extendable (telescopic) handle of the suitcase, it interferes with the button that collapses the handle so that does not work either. The strap would really only work with a rather smallish tote/purse with short handles in order to keep it off the floor when attached to the suitcase's small carry-handle.- When the tote is full and has a certain weight, it tends to pull the carry-on forward until it is in danger of toppling over. That is not ideal either and another reason I cannot use this as intended.If I use it, it will be with a full-size suitcase. That should work well and keep my tote away from the ground. But for the above purpose, I will return to my old Travelon Bag Bungee which secures my tote on top of my carry-on. It makes the suitcase somewhat top heavy but my bag is securely attached, off the floor and if I am a bit careful does not cause my carry-on to topple.SUMMARY: Works well for large, full-size suitcases, not so much for small carry-ons, especially when they are spinner-type cases.

Trying to drag two suitcases, a dog and dog carrier from baggage claim to the shuttle bus is no longer such a chore. This strap hooks up in seconds (did not even have to read the directions) well worth the cost.

Works well - the strap is a little long for the suitcase / bag combo I am using - shortened to smallest size and double looped it through the suitcase handle. The hook part does not open quite as wide as I would hope. Its all plastic - hope it holds up to my travel abuse.

Perfect to add a bag to luggage

It does not stay at the set adjustment. So you have to keep fixing it all day. And this is tiring. Unless you have a short bag to attach then it does not need a readjustment.

Purchased this two years ago and it has held up just fine. Good length for using with carry on luggage.
