comfortable
these boots are very comfortable it felt like I was walking on clouds. I walk alot at work and I was enjoying theses my feet felt so relaxed after work instead of being sore. Only problem I had was the 2nd day of wearing these they start to make a squeshy sound every step I made and it was very annoying. I tried to ignore the sound because the boots was so comfortable but the sound won and I have to return them.

Good alternative to more expensive hiking boot brands.
I’m glad to have tried it. Never realised that good quality waterproof hiking boots could be affordable and durable at the same time. I have tried and always used a lot of well-known and popular brands and have always spent more than $200 for each pair. But the thing about boots is they eventually wear out especially if you use them almost everyday not just in hiking but at work, as casual wear and anything under the sun. So, for someone like me who uses waterproof boots for all seasons and almost all occasions, these boots fit the bill and I won’t be afraid of replacing them every so often. Good fit, true to size and easy to use right out of the box.

Kept my feet dry
What is for my son for Christmas? He said they were very comfortable and they kept his feet dry and run. True to size.

Comfortable, warm, waterproof, noisy
These are my first pair of Nortiv. Never heard of them, but I had to try something other than mainstream shoes. New shoes, sneakers, etc. these days are terrible quality, fall apart in a few months and are ugly as sin. They are warm and comfortable. I live in the pacific northwest and its rainy season (with a vengeance) this year. So far, the waterproof claims are true. I like them. The only issue I have is the scraping and crunching noises the shoes make when I walk. I can't tell if its the tread or the material inside the shoe. Walking on carpeted or linoleum floors, I can be heard walking from down the hall.

Good boots
These boots are really good for the price. My husband is truck driver so he bought these to have while he was driving over the road. They were good in the snow and kept his feet warm.

Pretty much as described but too much room in the toe area not for those with narrow feet
These boots look more or less as in the description the only problem is there's a lot of room in the toe area which may work for someone who has regular feepretty muct size and doubles up on sock or who has wide feet and wears thick sock which won't work for my husband as his feet are narrow so I will be returning them

Great shoes for a great price.
After reading many reviews and the note on the item page saying that they generally fit to size, I picked up a pair of 9.5 black boots (with some grey trim) as I dig anything in black. If Batman wore a hiking shoe, this would be it. The stitching is well done and the fabric looks great - they don't look poorly made by any means. They appear to be water proof/resistant up to about half-way up the boot, at which point the water would seep in through the top - they aren't hip gaitors or water boots, so I wouldn't expect them to handle much more than a few inches deep puddle/mud. They feel super comfortable underneath my feet and around the sides - nothing awkwardly poking into the arch of my foot or the sides of my ankles. While I did pick my usual size, they do feel *ever so slightly roomy* - but I am wearing super thin socks and if I were wearing a thicker pair, I'm sure the shoe would be filled out a bit more. Also, I feel like if I got a smaller size AND wore a thicker pair of socks, I would find it slightly cramped. Also! Hiking tends to make your feet a bit bigger from the bloodflow so I think it's a good call to settle on a little roomy rather than a perfect fit when you're at home on a couch. I like how easily they go on/come off - you don't have to do much lacing/delacing or do any forcing of your foot into it. You can feel that the sole is made from different materials in different spots - treads are made of a rubber to give you grip where the rest of the sole is made from a harder material to make the soles last longer. Toe cap for a bit of protection/grip/easier ascents. Comes with an extra pair of laces. The photo on the item page does it fair justice but if I get around to pulling out my camera, I'll add a few photos of the shoes before I begin destroying them. All in all - super happy with my purchase and I trust they will serve me well on my thru-hike of the WCT in a month. Thanks for the sick boots, Nortiv8!

Very cost-effective product
Very light, and indeed waterproof, shoes are a bit too large but work well, it is a good pair of hiking boots for purchasing.

So far so good!
Comfortable, warm and good fit. I haven’t been on any massive treks yet but they’ve been great for walking around the city in the snow
