I couldn't understand how the abilities attributes etc. were layered and this explained it as well as almost everything in the game but not everything is perfect. Some of the quests you will want to save before a certain part or before beginning the quests because some of them do not work out the way the book describes. To aleive that problem and try it a few different ways, save.

I have found that the official stategy guides are a must have for playing many XBox 360 games. They are very helpful if you get stuck. This is a very good guide, and I always buy the Prima Official Guides. The maps are very helpful along with the detailed descriptions of quests. It also contains the info for the Knights of the Nine Add-on.

I've using the Oblivion guide for the main game and it had helped me wonders. The information is accurate and bast. It includes details of all the missions including main and side missions plus a lot of additional information on maps and points of interest as well as books, spells and other goodies.If you are completist, buy the guide.

I buy this game based on the YouTube video. Hopefully, the game can help me to killing time, when I bore at home.

I don't have this guide! I have the Oblivian guide that has all of the downloadable(dlc) content quest in it. I tend to rate all guides against that guide, because it is the best guide ever!!

The Prima Guide is so complete. Has a sence of humor in scripting and is very detailed in what you should know and what you need to find out on your own... I got one for Dungeon seige, Elder Scrolls Oblivion and now Shivering Isles. It is a must have side kick!

As a guide to the Shivering Isles pack for Oblivion, I simply cannot fault this. The writing is clear and concise (and occasionally humorous), the illustrations and pictures are superb quality and the depth and breadth of the information is impressive. Spoiler alerts prevent you from finding out too much too quickly. If you want to get the most out of this stunning game, this guide is all you need.
