Not for a hinged door
This is for a sliding door just like it says. I tried putting it on a hinged door and it will not work as is. Needed to elongate the slot so it would fit over the latch.

Short 4 screws
My hasp only came with 4 screws and it takes 8.

Could not get it to latch
Installed the hinged part first and then tried placing the u-bracket in place before attaching it. I could not for the life of me get it to slide in. Not matter if I moved it a little to the right or left, I could not align it. The slot on the hinge side needs to a little bit longer. IMO
