Will never use anything else.
Over the years I have developed a bit of an allergy to band-aids. Paper tape + gauze only goes so far so when I got a rather nasty cooking burn on my arm, I went to Amazon (yay same day delivery!). I found these - I had never even heard of a hydrocolloid bandage but the price seemed right so I bought a pack. You know how a burn is; you lose a layer of skin. It hurts, weeps and is really sensitive. When I slapped one of these on, it was like applying a new layer of skin. No more pain.As a wound weeps, the bandage turns white and swells so I did keep replacing it - really didn't need to - to make sure there was no infection under there. But no. After a week, all healed. There's a little shiny dry skin but it looks like it won't even scar.So I bought 2 other sizes of this bandage and gave away all the old boxes of bandaids in the medicine cabinet.Yes, these are not really cheap but given how rarely the average person really needs a bandaid, still a good deal and truly do seems to make a wound heal more quickly and certainly more painless. I hate to use a cliche like "game changer" but there is a world of difference between these and the bandaids I grew up with.Oh, and no allergic reaction at all to these!

Water/airtight seal for days
First the cons: none, other than the fact that you have a wound.Pros:• pretty easy to apply hygienically.• no need for antibacterial, you're actually not suppose to have antibacterial products on the wound.• will stay in place for over 4 days, even when I swim every day. This is on my bald head, may not last on a finger, knee, etc.• a protective gel develops where it contacts the wound, helps with healing and protects the cut from pain if you hit up against anything.• keeps the wound continually moist, no scab leaves less of a scarIt doesn't mention in the description, but it's helpful to cup it in the palms of your hands for a minute, while still in wrapper. The heat from your hands makes the bandage more malleable, for a tight fit.

Great
These type of bandaids are superior to any other. They are less likely..BY FAR.. to irritate the skin. If they do at all.You can put them any kind of small wound just as they are. Without medication. And they seal out all dirt and properly sized, They don't let in water.I find they are more conducive for -leave it alone and let it heal- at home doctoring... Best of all they are GREAT at reducing scaring!!!They are thick and heavy and press down the skin so it heals without scaring. I prefer the the smaller size then this version. But I can change them often or forget for 2 days, depending on the healing advancement. These need to replace almost all your bandaid options at home.

Excellent hydrocolloid bandages
One of the best hydrocolloid bandages. Sticks well, stays on despite sweat, can be cut in smaller pieces easily. Plus, comes packed in a small box that you can easily keep in pocket or purse, not like others in oversized packages.

Hydrocolloidal for me
These are the only type of bandages I can use & I am so happy Amazon has their own line. They stay on, but aren’t extremely sticky, so they are also easy to remove.

These aren’t for everyone.
If you accidentally touch it, it peels right up. If you have dry skin, it doesn’t adhere all the way. These were used on a skinned knee, so cleaned area as well as I could, then since it was scraped around, it was dry, but not smooth area around. It stayed on for a day or two, then ends would curl up off skin and stick to clothes and pull. Kind of frustrating. Maybe I will just order larger ones next time, but that seems a huge waste of money.

Cut them up for zit patches
I heal really slowly from chronic illness and these bandages are the only thing that keeps me from scarring. I cut them into pieces and use them as zit patches. Way more economical than actual zit patches
