Misleading title

There are a good number of *components* here, but not 37 sensors. A buzzer is not a sensor. LEDs are not sensors. This could be packaged SO much better. The components are not in the compartments indicated on the sheet. The joystick was jammed into one of the slots. I had to grab the corner of the packaging and yank it out. That compartment is deformed from the joystick top.The back of the sheet could have been printed with a pinout for the components. Instead, you'll have to look each one up. Fortunately, the part number is printed on the circuit boards because they aren't on the sheet either.I had 2 of one component and was missing another. MANY of them had the sensor/effector part of the component bent over and needing straightening. This was especially concerning considering there was plenty of room in each compartment (except for the joystick) and there was no reason for them to be bent. The container they come in is a pretty cheap container.I just wasn't impressed.

Zero information, no company response

While it's nice to have a bunch of sensors on hand to experiment with, mine came in a very broken box. The only documentation of what I got was a picture of all the sensors and a brief (2 word) description of what they were. They all had part numbers on the boards, but that wasn't listed on the picture, so I had to go through and try to match up parts to pictures to even get a brief, sometimes vague description of what it was. And the company doesn't respond to simple email questions, like what's the maximum current draw.If you're just looking to play around with things, this is great. If you're in any way serious about building then you probably don't have time to measure current draw, outputs and accuracy of all these modules or find model numbers on the sensors themselves (not the module) to figure out what you have. If you're just "throwing something together" then it's "good enough". IF you can figure out what each one is. Otherwise the complete lack of all information makes this next to useless to you without a serious investment of your time to gather the information yourself.

Don't buy as first set, but probably OK for second. Poor documentation and mislabeling.

I bought this as a secondary source of sensors after buying a first set from ELEGO that was about twice the price.I figured the the apparent lack of documentation and tutorials in this set wouldn't be a problem since I had most of that already. The 37 little circuit boards came in a nice divided plastic case, with a colorful picture legend, but not much else. Much to my chagrin, the boards weren't arranged as depicted, but randomized in the case. It took an hour to sort them based on the legend (made more difficult due to them being individually wrapped in zip lock bags). This wasn't trivial - there's no description embossed on any of the boards, so other than the tiny pictures on the cover, there's no real way to tell the boards apart. This really wasn't a big deal, my dogs were happy to sit on my feet while I sorted the boards. And I did get a good idea what each of them were. But looking back, this was a waste of an hour of my life I'll never get back. And I'm wondering if HiLetGo was too cheap to sort the boards in the case, what other flaws in the actual boards I may find. All in all, I feel I got what I paid for. However, I seriously suggest spending more money on a different set of sensor boards if you're a bit of a novice at this. The lack of doc's and mislabeling in this set will make it almost useless to you without some experience.

mixed bag... no documentation whatsoever forcing you to search for information online

One sensor (little sound) didn't make it intact. All others appear to be intact. Lack of documentation makes implementation of these more complex than it really needs to be. On face value this looks like a good kit for the money but you have to do extra work to get things working so keep that in mind. This is not a kit for beginners. Some information on these is not easy to obtain so good luck. These were not packed according to the diagram so that is the first step when you get this kit: remove them from the antistatic bag and then use the picture diagram to place them in their respective areas then go hunting for information online. The temperature and humidity sensor works without issues. All the others I will have to play with. Overall not the best kit to purchase for experimentation.

Sloppy Construction, Poor Packaging, No Documentation

Parts are packed in individual anti-static bags - that's nice, but then they're jammed into all of those tiny compartments of the plastic box, resulting in bent leads with many shorted together. The parts are NOT placed in the compartments as shown in the chart. The mounting of the components is very sloppy - almost like a child did it. I found some of them to be either backwards, or the labeling of the PC board is wrong. For example, one of the "two-color" LEDs lights Red on the "G" terminal and Green on the "R" terminal. That's enough to drive any programmer crazy, if he/she assumes that these things are put together right. There are duplicates of some parts, and others are missing. There is no documentation at all. It's a good thing I'm an engineer - I can work it all out, but for someone just starting out, it's a nightmare.
