Problem with this was simple. In playing back a cassette tape I had heard before several times, it started slowing and speeding up the playback. Obviously you can't get a good recording if it doesn't play the tape at the proper speed. Possible it was just a defective unit. But have had to ship it back. The transfer to the computer is fine and worked well with Audacity, which several people are not aware is needed to do the computer recording side. Audacity is a free download. So everything would have been fine with just a better play of the tape.
