Heaven: The Official Study Guide

This is a wonderful read. Randy Alcorn is a scholar of the Bible. So it is full of truth and gives the reader hope for the future heaven to come. His words paint a beautiful portrait of what is awaiting when we are called home to be with Him and our loved ones who have gone ahead of us.

I know that several excellent reviews have been written on this book already. For myself this is an excellent, informative book that contains a mountain of information which Randy Alcorn gleaned from the Scriptures. I have to date never heard any church or evangelist teach or preach about heaven. It seems to be a big secret? Or don't they know? As Christians Heaven is our big hope and destination. But there appears to be a major lack of both interest and information about it. The book is full of biblical references related to Heaven. It is a joy to read.

I’m enjoying this study of heaven by Randy Alcorn. It’s really good to learn of specific things about heaven. My husband died and I’m hungry to know what he is experiencing right now and what I will experience someday.

Unquestionably the best book on the topic of heaven. All based on scripture. After reading this book, you will understand the special place that God has prepared for you, and you will realize the depth of His love for you. If you are a Christian, you will be a more well-informed Christian once you read it.

This book is a MUST read !! Our ladies bible study group is using this book, study guide and video for our next bible study !! If you want to know more about what Heaven entails, this book will answer your questions and backs it up with biblical truths and scripture references.

I’ve read Heaven by Randy Alcorn and found it to be excellent—biblically grounded, thoughtful, and deeply encouraging. The official study guide itself also appears well-structured and useful for serious engagement with the material. That said, I would not recommend the Kindle version of the study guide for those who prefer to write responses, underline, or interact directly with the questions. The Kindle format does not allow printing, effective note-taking, or easy copy-and-paste, which makes working through the guide unnecessarily frustrating. This significantly limits its usefulness as a study resource. If you plan to actively engage with the guide, I strongly recommend purchasing the paperback instead. A PDF option would have been helpful as well, but none appears to be available or clearly indicated. In short: excellent content, but the Kindle format works against how a study guide is meant to be used.
