Thanks to Dyson it is simple to replace the battery,(less than 5 minutes)Was going to throw the hoover out after having it for 2 and a half years thinking 💭 “oh well we have had good use out of it”But the thought of spending another £300 + on a new hoover pushed me into giving and new battery a shot & so glad I did (it’s like working like a new hoover).Thanks to flylinktech the build quality on this replacement item fits perfectly without and problems,And the increase of 1400mAh with this unit allows for a much long use time and I now have the turbo feature working again,We can now hoover 3 rooms on 1 charge where the old battery would die after only getting through half of 1 room.Would definitely recommend using the battery instead of buying a replacement one from Dyson..

After my original Dyson battery kicked the bucket, I bought a cheap aftermarket one which worked ok but only lasted just over a year... buy cheap, buy twice as they say... so this time I bought this time I thought I’d spend a bit more money. I’m definitely not disappointed, the battery lasts much longer between charges and it seems to have more power. Easy to install(just two screws) and the filter is an easy swap which also seems to be good quality(you can’t tell the difference between this and the original by looking). The only thing I have noticed, is that when you press the trigger to activate the dyson, there is a delay as to when it starts. This doesn’t effect performance but it is a little confusing/annoying till you get used to it.

Now quite happy with this battery. Initially,it didn’t seem to live up to the claims for it’s run-time,but,after a few recharge cycles, it appears to be lasting much longer, so now well satisfied with the unit.Fitted to a V6 Dyson cordless. Friend was going to throw the cleaner away when the battery started failing, and bought a replacement V7 unit! We “adopted”this old one,and this battery,(complete with the free filter!) has given it a new lease of life. Result!!

I must say I am very impressed by the quality and value of this battery replacement. It was very easy to install firstly and the build quality is as good as the original part it replaced. I got it as my original v6 Dyson battery failed after two years of use. The battery life on this is longer than the Dyson battery I used to have (at its peak when I first purchased it) which means I can now vacuum my entire flat on max setting under a single charge without having to adjust the setting to economise (and still have spare battery). Most impressively, I managed to get it for a fraction of the price and with very fast delivery. Thank you!

Bought one of these for my cordless DC59 as it was only running for 3 or 4 mins before battery dying.Having stripped and cleaned all ports and rollers etc to rule out a blockage, I decided to change the battery.. (They do after all have a lifespan, just like everything else)There are only two screws to remove the original battery, one in the handle, and the second accessible once you unclip the dirt box.Both screws are small phillips screws, so no special torx required, unlike the rest of the Dyson.Change over took only a few minutes.There was charge in the battery already, but I put the Dyson on its cradle anyway, just to make sure it was fully topped up.The result was amazing, I can now clean the whole house again on a single charge, just like I used to.. But now I can do the tough bits on turbo also.Recently bought a second battery to replace the one in my stepdads Dyson.Fits like the original. Would highly reccomend.

It arrived very promptly, fitted exactly, installed easily, working perfectly and recharged correctly without any issues.The only thing that I cannot realistically give a certifiable reference to is to the ultimate durability of the battery as the replacement was only fitted three weeks ago. It is not used extensively daily but the early signs so far are promising.This type of battery technology does not like two minutes use and constant recharge. Better to let it discharge to a much greater level, then recharge. This helps to avoid the battery getting a memory of the charge level. However, don't leave it very discharged for a month or more before recharging.

Changing my review to 5 start since the seller contacted me and fixed the problem immediately! Very impressed with the customer service!The new battery works really well and I have no complains. Probably I was just unlucky with the first one.Old review:The battery was charged when arrived. When plugging in to charge if would not show any lights, so I assumed is fully charged. I used it for a few minutes (well, tried to), but it kept on cutting off with yellow light flashing. I left it to cool down (just in case), but the same is happening. Now it will not even start (after an hour of letting it cool down). Trying to charge it, but again no lights come on to show is charging.

Bought this one (4500mAh) again after the previous one (bought Jan 2020) gave up the ghost Last Dec.(2024).Just returned the new fancy 6500 mAh one which gave up the ghost after one month, lucky within the 1 month return allowance. Looking forward to another 4 years of use of the new Flylink unit.

Soddisfatissima, il mio dyson è tornato nuovo, installazione della nuova batteria facilissimo e ho sostituito anche il filto visto che ti arriva in abbinamento alla batteria. Ho pulito divano e tutta la casa ed era ancora carico. Sulla longevità non mi posso ancora esprimere ma se avesse anche lunga vita sarebbe il 🔝

Design molto simile all’originale, facilità nel montaggio tramite una semplice vite. Prestazioni identiche al pezzo sostituito.

Really happy with my purchase and such an easy process to replace old battery. Literally unscrew 2 phillips head screws on old battery unit to release from Dyson vacuum and replace with new battery unit re-screwing the same two screws. Vacuum Lasts also longer before requiring recharge.Pack comes with 2 additional filters and this handy cleaning brush utensil that gets into the tighter knooks to dislodge dust.Brilliant!

Seems almost identical to original, instructions for easy replacement and battery charging information. Includes 12-month warranty with a bonus QR link to activate a 2-year extended warranty if needed.
