When compared to the original it is slightly different in the front. Ordered from Amazon thinking it was an original part, but when it did not fit I went to my local pro photo supply store and got an original which came in a nice manfrotto packaging, and fits great. The part listed on Amazon is a useless knockoff that comes in a tiny plastic bag, no instructions or warranty paperwork like the original. Save yourself the trouble and do NOT get this part it is useless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aftermarket, but it works. *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2017* Definitely aftermarket, not authentic Manfrotto, but the size was an exact match to my original, and so the fit is perfect. The collapsible wing-nut for tightening is not as good as the original, though. It's made with thinner wire, and it's narrower, so that it's harder to get a good grip for a tight fit. Whoever mounted the bolt also put both washers on the camera-side, so that the first time I used it, the bolt head with the collaspible wing-nut screwed too far in, so that the wing-nut piece was binding against the plate, making it impossible to get a tight fit. After I realized they put the washers on wrong, I simply removed the top on that slips on, and then put the other washer underneath the plate, so that it rests against the bolt head, leaving just the slip on washer on the top (camera) side. This completely fixed the problem with the wint-nut binding, and gave me a solid functional second plate.
