These are good items, but unfortunately one was broken on delivery and had to return for a replacement. Attempted to request just one blade as replacement. Unable to reach seller.

This product is a package of four replacement blades for Stanley Surform rasps. They are made to be installed on the Stanley tool. If you try to use them as a file, they will break. They are not designed as a standalone file. I've had my Stanley Surform rasp for 10 or 20 years, and It finally got too dull to use. This package of four blades will definitely last a lifetime.

Useful when fast, yet controlled, removal of material is needed.

Stanley's wood rasps have been a help to me for a number of years. It is true that the replacement blades are very brittle, easily broken they catch on something, and are unusable if you receive them with a bend (they will break if you try to straighten them). However, the customer service number works; they replace broken blades if received bent (one of four of mine was received bent). All this said, it is hard to find a decent wood rasp that has a good handle, so I keep working this old rasp. They could do a little better with the blade design, but it is likely they will not change.

Hard to find these. If you use them PROPERLY they do there job. Slow down and don't force them.

He comprado desde hace tiempo este producto y salía de buena calidad en todo, pero últimamente la parte donde lleva las pestañas sueldadas, se rompen con facilidad y eso hace que no se termine la vida útil de la lima y no hay manera de usarla nuevamente. Ojalá pongan atención en ese detalle
