Official TOEFL iBT Tests with Audio 1st Edition

This is the best book available for TOEFL test preparation. Offers 5 real tests. I had this book and also Official Guide, and got 100 total. Therefore, I will strongly recommend to practise 90%of the time with official ETS books. And 10% on other books such as Cambridge preparation to build foundational skills, and some vocabulary books to develop specific vocabulary

I'm a TOEFL teacher and this is the best material for TOEFL practice. I highly recommend it for those who just want to practice. The only drawback is that there is no CD ROM - only an audio CD. This book would be a great complement to the  Official Guide to the TOEFL Test With CD-ROM, 4th Edition (Official Guide to the Toefl Ibt)

I got this book a few month ago. This is a very good book. Specailly, the CD is worked perfect i played in my car every day. They have practice test, test planner, appendix A and B, answer keys, and audio for all listening passages on the accomanying disc, with complete audio track transcripts.

As mentioned on the website, this is a good book for toefl. Toefl test questions are similar those in this book. The drawback is that the questions on the CDs don't come with a timer so that you can practice giving timed response. For eg, the question is spoken and then you must have your own timer to time yourself for say 15 s to prepare and then 45-60 s to speak. I found that Barron' s toefl guide with 10 CDs is more useful in that regard. I'd suggest buy both.

This book is from the makers of the TOEFL test, very helpfull, I should have it a long time ago. The two books from ETS Official TOEFL IBT tests and The official Guide to the TOEFL test are the best books for preparation for TOEFL Test. I suggest them to everyone who will take the TOEFL.

100% great book to prepare for the TOEFLiBT. Tips are awesome. Just do all five tests, and you will definitely get great score. Use this book with Official Guide to the Toefl ibt, then you will not reqire any other material or advise to prepare the test. I am fully satisfied. Flawless material.

I bought this book to get ready for TOEFL exam, and this book really helped me. The tests are very similar to those we can see in TOEFL, specially for speaking and writing part, and it is unique because other books are far away from the actual questions we can see in TOEFL.

CD shouldn't be for audio files only. It should contains the 5 tests to be as real Toefl practice. Otherwise, it's okay.

This was a great help with studying for the TOEFL. It really helped with preparing me so that I could do well in my university. The audio especially was great and helped me with my pronunciation as well as helping me sound out words i was unfamiliar with.

This book, along with the Official Guide to Toefl (4th ed.-Book+CD) should be sufficient to get a good score, if you are reasonably adept at using the language. Even those who are well -versed in English might stumble and make completely avoidable mistakes during the exam. These two books helped me get a good idea of the exam structure and prepare accordingly. I must emphasize the importance of working on the "Speaking" and "Listening" sections, since I had to practice repeatedly to get in the "exam mode". Practice in a timed manner is absolutely important. For people needing more preparation, I will recommend the official Toefl Practice Online (TPO) sets. You can get those from the ETS site or elsewhere, if you search enough. I used these three resources over a period of 3 days,and have just received my score -115/120. Highly recommended, but not as a standalone - use it with the official guide for maximum utilization.

Cet ouvrage est le manuel "officiel" de préparation au TOEFL IBT, c'est-à-dire à la version qui se passe sur ordinateur. Il est très bien conçu et comporte un CD-Rom avec 5 tests réels d'entraînements. Malgré tout il y a un certain décalage avec l'épreuve sur place, car l'ambiance et le stress rendent les choses plus compliquées qu'il n'y paraît. Surtout, le jour dit il y a un certain brouhaha qui dérange. Amener des bouchons d'oreille peut être utile pour se concentrer pour certaines parties du test. Avoir une bonne habitude du clavier d'ordinateur permet aussi de gagner du temps dans les épreuves de rapidité.Cela dit, le manuel est efficace puisque mon fils (niveau master) a réussi à obtenir le nombre de points dont il avait besoin. L'achat est donc efficace.
