Zimbabwe, 2nd (Bradt Travel Guide) Paperback – November 12, 2013

Good book. I learned a lot, but felt it didn't cover as much of the specific areas I am going to see. No book can do it all, and the general info is quite useful.

This book provides a very comprehensive view of today's Zimbabwe. It is much more than a travel guide with insights into the country past and present. There are hardly any travel guide books on this country alone and this is a very thoughtfully written one.

This is a very useful book if you're going to travel to Zimbabwe. Lots of good information, especially about the history, what to bring, dealing with "street politics" (i.e. traffic stops), etc.It's very up to date at this time (published September 2013). If you're going to Zim, get the book!

It's very good and since I have been in Zimbabwe every year since 2001, I fine it very accurate, and the description of the people very accurate. They are lovely, kind, and fun.

Excellent book on Zimbabwe. Everything you need to know about the country. I would highly recommend this book and cannot wait to explore Zimbabwe.

This was a fascinating look at a country I knew nothing about. It told the history and the present in a most interesting sceneria.

These guides are top notch. Full of practical information and the only guide book that I read from cover to cover. Written by someone who has first hand knowledge of the country. Covers every aspect that a traveller needs and also lots of background historical and cultural information. Not a glossy book, just down to earth.

This book came with me on my travels :)It was brilliant.. In a time and place where nothing stays the same for very long this travel guide was informative enough to give me several options. I back packed my way accross Zimbabwe alone. I always managed to find a place to stay to eat or to visit :) well worth the money !

Great book, needs some updating of maps as some things have moved and details but mostly accurate. Can check for updates online. As per usual though, Bradt has produced a great book for Africa

Very good, accurate and easy to read. We used it to plan a two week road trip around Zim and it never less us down

Do not visit Zimbabwe without this book. It covers everything. Great reading leaving you wanting to know more. A MUST to prepare and take with you.
