We purchased one of these Puppy Nyla Bone Chew when he was arriving home a few weeks ago. He is now 12 weeks old and about 15#'s. He carries the other one everywhere and gnaws on the plastic bone part. We went ahead and froze both of the news ones when they arrived, per the package instructions. We gave him on in the house and he had one outside. They both looked like this after less than 30 minutes. We took the one inside away after 10 minutes. He had cracked/chewed/bitten the product material (cloth) off and ate it, obviously. The non-frozen one remains intact. VERY DISAPPOINTED. As expected, he had a difficult time stooling last evening, with strings needing to be assisted out!! NOT SAFE AT ALL. The originally purchased one is fine and still being carried around undamaged. Returning the other two! advice: DO NO FREEZE THEM!!

I purchased this for my 5-month-old Yorkie Pup. She chews on everything, but this. I tried it cold and room temperature as well. She simply has no interest in it. In all fairness, it's difficult to rate something like this, because every dog is different and has their own preferences. It did do what it is advertised to do as far as functionality if that helps to balance out the review. Hope this helps somewhat.

This is not a "fillable" chew toy. This is a over glorified micro icecube tray that is terrible. You pour a tiny amount of water on the back side which has no cover then let it freeze l. You give it to your dog who chews the ice and makes a mess and then ignore the toy. Do not buy this

Just got this today and it is my puppy's new obsession! After freezing it, I waited until he was in a playful mood and the minute he grabbed it, he wouldn't put it down! Kept him busy for a solid 15 minutes, something no other toy has done up to this point.

My now 6 month old Cocker puppy (27 lbs) still loves this freezer bone! As soon as it turns yellow, we pop it back into the freezer and it only takes 30 mins for it to turn orange again...we do this throughout the day when he seems uninterested in his other toys. One thing...it is smaller than I thought it would be so we always supervise him with this toy.

Though this product has nothing wrong with it, I bought it for my 30+ standard poodle and its tiny. She’s allergic to chicken so I wanted to buy it, but it’s meant for a TINY dog, no more than 25+ pounds. Please be careful when purchasing.

The media could not be loaded.  I must express that I was extremely hesitant about purchasing this teething toy because of the horror story reviews. Ultimately, I did take a chance on the teething toy that is lamb/apple flavoured (though it smells like chicken broth to me) that you put in the freezer.My puppy loves it! I have watched him obsessively—I mean ‘carefully’—and while he looks like an ‘aggressive’ chewer by my estimation, it’s clear that he isn’t able to break this apart. I’m sure it will eventually wear out, but he appears to understand it’s a chew toy vs a bone or edible treat.He has been looking for cold things a lot and these appear to soothe his gums, as well as keep him occupied. I bought 2 so he can have access to one even while the other is in the freezer.While I would certainly urge people to watch their dogs as they play with any toy, this toy is flexible and it is not rock hard. If we have problems in future I will update my review but as it stands, it does exactly what I’d hoped & the quality appears to be there.It is extremely difficult to know which toys to purchase a puppy, especially when the negative reviews are horror stories vs ‘my dog hates it/won’t play with it.’ Even so, I am glad I did take a chance. After spending a week trying to find a bone toy he arrived home with from his (AKC) breeder, I had to admit defeat & go with something. These were my choice.I’ve attached a video to give an idea of the size of the toy compared to a 14 week old shih tzu puppy who’s on the larger side for his age/breed. Please note I absolutely wouldn’t give this to a larger breed of puppy because I believe it could be a potential choking hazard much more than with a dog Nestor’s size. Lastly, the pack states that it’s for gentle chewers. Maybe people miss the sliding scale, but I’d take that in to account. I don’t get the idea this was intended for destructive chewers, which my puppy is not. A good, soothing toy for teething puppies (who aren’t particularly large) are the dogs for whom I’d recommend.

Bought this for a 2 month old lab mix. It’s very small so realized I wouldn’t be able to safely use it more than a couple weeks. One night he woke me vomiting and what came up was an orange plastic looking mess. I realized he had chewed off one size of the bone and that’s what it was. Thankful he was able to get it up without an obstruction. I don’t recommend giving this to a puppy.

She’s a 12 week old Cavachon . Soaked the towel part as suggested in water before freezing and she gets lots of fun chewing on it. Only thing surprised me , the water in the ring part didn’t freeze , that’s a by the by tho! Love this a must buy for teething puppies!

I came across this by chance looking for flavoured nylabones. I decided to give it a go and I’m so grateful. My puppy has almost lost all her baby teeth but the last few teeth are causing her a bit of discomfort. This is the only thing we have found that provides her with any relief. She loves it! Highly recommend, and also perfect for hot days as well!

This teething toy is fantastic for my little Chinese crested powderpuff puppy. Her gums are swollen and she wants to chew everything in sight. It’s an amazing toy. I bought two, so one can stay in the freezer and she can play with the other one. You can see it soothes her sore gums and I can tell it gives her relief from teething. Of all the teething toys, this one is a must.

After a wash and dry, I popped this in the freezer, super excited that my 16 week old puppy would have something to help relieve her saw gums. She had this for 5 minutes the first time, I washed and returned to the freezer. Day 2 she had it for 10 minutes and then it was binned.For the price I would have expected to get a few weeks out of it, especially considering she didn't have any adult teeth, just baby teeth and gums.We've purchased some Kong toys and will be sticking with brand we've used happily with our other dog

Wow what a product for the price too so amazing my dog bites a lot as hell teething and he loves this so much I freeze it for a few hours give it to him he spends about half hour to hour chewing then I re freeze I buying another so I can keep changing outBest teething I have brought for my pup I have a dachshund puppy they great chewers lol
