Challenging Logic Puzzles (Official Mensa Puzzle Book)

I love puzzles and anything that requires me to use logic, but this book takes the challenge to a whole new level! I tried a few of the puzzles and ended up leaving it aside. Maybe when I feel like I have several hours to devote to it, I will pick it up again but for now, it is well above my pay grade.

Love the book, been slowly making my way through it. The four star review is because the puzzle on page 22 entitled Tape Teaser has an answer (pg 79) that is incorrect. If I knew how to get in contact w/ the publisher/writer, I’d like to let them know. It’s possible to tell that there is a mistake even by not completing the puzzle and just comparing the rules and puzzle description to the answer key. I haven’t noticed any other mistakes I don’t think, and again, it’s a very fun book good for practicing critical thinking and logic.

I purchased this book wanting brain teasers for an adult. This product is very good. The challenges are different in format and style, so you aren't working the same type of puzzle over and over again. I received this book yesterday and I was very impressed. Some of the puzzles are similar to the logic games you see on an LSAT exam. So if you are wanting something along those lines to challenge you, this is a good choice.

This is a unique masterpiece in that it is full of mistakes, typos and errors, including in the "solutions." Consider buying for its pure comical entertainment value consisting of the bumbling author's multiple sloppy inaccuracies of all sorts.

I used to love logic puzzles: elaborate grids, scenarios pictured: buildings. neighborhoods, table seating, etc.Worst of all, the many puzzles in this book that would require a grid are too simple to bother with.

This is great for the person who enjoys puzzles

So many puzzles to choose from! Great book to throw in a bag and take to the beach or to the coffee shop! Definitely recommend to any logic puzzle lover!

If you liked the math questions like "If the red train left the station at a speed of 47 mph and the blue train left at..." personally I hated those questions and this book reminds me of that type of thing.

It's a good book to make you busy and waste your time. The problem is that lot's of the puzzles required you to write something on the paper and I don't like to damage book by writing. The other solution is to make a picture of the page you are interested and print it, but this is like too much hassle and lots of printing.

Present which was very much appreciated. Logic puzzles seem to have disappeared from the shops nowadays!

Disappointed that there were no grids to work out the answer. I have had to make my own grids. Seem like good logic puzzles with a good mix of difficulty levels

Great puzzle book

A good variety of difficulties and range of puzzles. I'm getting through the book quite slowly as I use them as time fillers, but they are very enjoyable and the answers are not in the same order so there's no risk of accidentally peeking at an answer before you do the puzzle! I also like that the answers explain the thought process so you can understand the way of thinking.
