KMC Unisex's E10 EPT Chain, Silver, 136 Link

I needed a longer chain for a Surly Disc Trucker. After much trial and error, this one did the trick. It's been holding up well for hundreds of miles. Good enough that I went ahead and bought 2 more to have on hand for when it's time for a chain replacement.

I broke the original chain on my eMTB at 1700 miles. Luckily I was within a mile of home and I wasn’t off on some trail somewhere. I wanted to replace it with an eMTB specific, heavy duty chain, so I decided to try this one.So far, so good. I ordered a 10 speed version and it fit my bike perfectly. Install was easy with the provided quick link. I did not change the crank or rear cassette, which is often needed depending on wear. The chain worked perfectly. I’ve put 400 miles on it since install and no problems.I’ll revise my review if I have problems, but I doubt if I will. I’m happy that I upgraded my chain instead of going cheap.

These are a preferred brand for use on e bikes. Do not use standard chains. They will wear out or break and are not durable enough for the stress from motor assist bikes!

This is a great chain for Heavy Duty E-bikes. Easy to install and and endures tough conditions…keep and extra in my pannier cause I use my Runguu e-bike like an ATV

Great chain. Although an e bike chain I use it on my fatbike. Was one of the only chains that was long enough since I converted my 2x into a 1x10. All the other chains were too short at 116 links and I think this one had 136 links so I was able to size it correctly without adding another piece of chain with two master links . All in all a great purchase.

Chain broke after 100 miles of use on e-bike

Specifically designed for electric bikes and to date, we have not been shocked.

J'ai acheté cette chaîne en février et on est en juin pour remplacer l'ancienne d'une autre grande marque sh.... Sur mon vttae qui comptabilisait 1200 kms. Depuis février je roule donc sur route plate, montagne bitumée ou terre accidentée, velotaffe etc... Je comptabilise 2000 kms et après mesure prise je peu continuer à rouler avec cette même chaîne alors oui elle est 50 % plus chère mais vous ferez le double en kilomètres. Je ne peux que l'a conseiller !

La uso sulla mia e bike. Ci ho fatto circa 1200 km in montagna oltre i 2300-2400 m e non l'ho pulita molto. Per ora TUTTO BENE e gli indici di usura rilevati con l'apposito calibro dicono che è ancora quasi nuova.

Muy buena cadena para ebike, aumque tambien te digo quw no veo necesidad de comprar cadena específica, despues de muchísimo km he cambiado a una estándar para bici de montaña y la ge cambiado con el.mismo kilometraje y el mismo desgaste pero a mitad de precio, 1600 km de duración
