Medicated Lip Balm, 0.15 oz., 2 Tubes

This lip balm is moisturizing, smells great, and has a nice flavor without being overpowering. The pomegranate tint adds just enough color to look natural, which I really like for everyday wear. Burt’s Bees is also a brand I trust, and this feels consistent with the quality I’ve come to expect from them. It’s reasonably priced and a good value for something I use regularly. The only downside is that it doesn’t last very long on the lips, so I do find myself reapplying it throughout the day. Even so, it’s still one of my favorite tinted lip balms overall.

Over the last 10 years I’ve switched ALL of my lip balms to Burt’s Bee’s, and there’s a definite reason why I have; THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT!! The Vanilla Bean shown here has a subtle nice smell, glides smoothly on my lips, and is perfect under lipstick or lip tints. (I have never met a matte lipstick I’ve liked, sorry)! It’s gotta be moisture for this mature gal with grey hair popping in as high lights these days. I have several different Burt’s balms across my house, in my car, my bag, pockets or yoga waistbands I’m wearing, depending on what I’m doing and if I have pockets or not. It’s a never leave home without product. You get the idea! TIP: I always have 1, 2, or 3 different types of Burt’s in my car at ALL TIMES, depending on sunscreen needs and how parched my lips are, and how I DON’T want them to be parched or burnt! Burt’s always saves me! To make sure it doesn’t melt I keep it in a dark compartment near an AC vent in my car, top w/lid facing up, balm rolled down, to avoid melting. I’VE NEVER MELTED ONE, but yes they do soften. If my lips are miserable, I’M MISERABLE, and I’m always carrying some type of lipstick depending where I’m going, for what and how long. I’ve lived in the Midwest all my life, where summers have been brutally hot and humid, for long stretches, and winters have been the exact opposite; with frigid sub zero temps plus the windchills! There’s a Burt’s Bee’s product for every type of need, skin irritation, and for your own personal preferences. I still try out the new ones, and my personal preferences are always kept well stocked! Just two of my personal go to’s are the Vanilla Bean (goes with everything), the Ultra Conditioning is my ABSOLUTE HOLY GRAIL! Nothing is smoother and silkier than how it glides on especially at bedtime all year long. Burt’s are perfect under most lipsticks I own, but wait a short while to apply lipstick perfectly!

I discovered Burt’s Bee balm about 20 yrs ago. We were on our first deer hunting trip in ages. The pomegranate is their best product for harsh weather and chapped lips. Even my dog is all over me when she smells the bees wax! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product. Their other ‘flavors’ smell amazing and I’ve used their tinted ones in place of lip gloss for a long time. What a fantastic product!

I’ve tried a ton of lip balms over the years, but Burt’s Bees is one I keep coming back to. It goes on smooth, keeps my lips hydrated for hours, and doesn’t have that heavy, greasy feel some other brands do. I really like that it’s made with more natural ingredients, and the light peppermint tingle is super refreshing without being overpowering. It’s perfect for everyday use, especially in dry or cold weather. The only downside is that if your lips are really cracked, you might need something a little heavier at first—but for maintenance and daily hydration, this works great. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable lip balm that actually does what it’s supposed to do.

I have been using this lip balm for a while now and it is one of my favorites. Burt Bees is a great brand with quality products. Good value and affordable. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time without feeling heavy or greasy. I really like the natural ingredients and the light, refreshing scent. It is also small enough to carry in my pocket or bag, which makes it easy to use throughout the day. Overall, it is a reliable lip balm that leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth.

I usually use the medicated Chapstick brand, but this was on here and covered with my FSA card, so I thought I’d try it. Overall, it’s quite a delightful little lip balm. I only prefer the Chapstick brand for the more slippery feel. I’ve always been an original Burt’s Bees fan, but I now have such a dry mouth from menopause and medication side effects. The wax balm can make my mouth/lips feel stickier at times. I now see that as my push to drink more water when I feel the dry mouth creeping in on me lol. Now the reasons why I’ll be switching to this brand regardless of that one negative (which was never an issue before the dry mouth!): That same waxy feel is what has been keeping my lips protected and not cracking/bleeding. This recent Midwest cold/wind/winter can have that effect. I truly feel like I have a barrier between me and the elements. It reapply often, but just because I like the way it feels! With this vs. Chapstick, I would have to apply the Chapstick much more for the same protection. Then the taste isn’t weird or chemically - I am so sensitive to certain flavors. This one is just fresh and minty. It’s perfect! I’m going to give the second stick to my 10–year-old daughter because her lips get so bad in the winter!

This was a great deal and I love the Burt's Bees Pink Grapefruit Lip Balm! I wasn't sure about the scent/flavor because I don't like grapefruit, but it's absolutely wonderful. Refreshing for these hot summer days coming on. I'm glad I grabbed the 2 pack of these!

Look. It's honestly a fabulous product, but I'm so frustrated that nowhere on the package does it say that it contains gluten. I bought this for my partner who has a wheat allergy, and they started wheezing after a few days of using this chapstick, they started experiencing swelling around the throat, bloating, diarrhoea etc. I wish there was an allergen warning on the packaging, because it took us a while to find the source of the allergy. You really don't expect it from a trusted brand like Burts Bees Only if you look on Burts Bees website does it say: "We cannot provide a list of Burt's Bees products that are safe for use with your allergy because our products may have been manufactured on a shared line with products containing gluten, or raw materials used in our products may have been processed in a facility that also processes products containing gluten. Therefore, we are unable to state that any Burt's Bees products are "gluten-free."

Always been an authentic product. Trusted brand for me.
