Fit in lighting fixture perfectly

I was hoping this bulb would be a true replacement for the hot Halogen bulb in my torch lamp in my living room. I got so tired of the moths flying into the lamp and burning up and smelling up the house. I figured a LED bulb would be the answer. The light brightness is about 1/2 as bright. It does work with the dimmer switch, sort of. Not sure if its the lamp dimmers fault or the LED bulb but when I turn the lamp switch off there is still a faint glow from the bulb. The other thing is my Halogen bulb gave a warm orange glow and this bulb gives off a soft blue/white. I am forcing myself to keeping this bulb and get use to the new lighting of my living room. I hope it last as long as my Halogen bulb did. I guess I wish it had a orange warm glow and not blue/white.

Bought a two light tripod work light at Goodwill for $5 and bought these to go in it. Nice bright white light, and hopefully will last longer than normal halogen bulbs.

Great bulbs, fit just like the energy wasting Halogens they replace. But they aren't a warm color (in the 2700-3000k range). These look much more like a 4k LED - the white is harsh and great for worklights and such, but terrible in, say, a kitchen fixture like I have :(Bad news, they didn't work in my kitchen. Good news, I gave my old halogen firestarters an energy and safety retrofit for cheap.

Disappointed in the life span of these bulbs. Led bulbs should last longer than 6 months. Will be buying from another company.

Will not fit standard instrument socket configuration...requires modification of lamp reflector. Second lamp arrived with l.e.d. circuit board detached from internal connecting wiring (poor soldering) which rendered it unusable. First lamp (of 2-pack) developed intermittent output over time; suspect poor internal solder joint overheating. Poor quality. Chinese.

Previously I have been using an Intertek work light with a halogen 300 watt bulb. It was like turning on a space heater, so hot I couldn’t leave it on for any length of time. This 20 watt bulb provides the equivalent light/lumens of a 200 watt halogen, with negligible heat and better than adequate light for most home jobs.I highly recommend this bulb. I have been using it for only a few hours, so cannot speak to it’s longevity. But it has already lasted longer than the 300 watt halogen ever did.

I bought these for a standing lamp that used to use the hot tungsten lamp. They work but are a bit dim. They also flicker a lot. Each side of the COB led is wired in parallel so they leds are off for half an AC cycle, so they flicker. I ended up installing a full bridge rectifier and 20uf of capacitance before the LED which got rid of the flicker and made it considerably brighter.
