The item works wonderfully. I ordered 2 and was disappointed that one would not work. After trouble shooting, I realized the batteries it came with were backwords. So it was an easy fix. Love the timers.

Don't bother with this item. Very disappointed. I had high hopes but it just fails on so many levels. LOVE that it is magnetic and has a stand BUT I returned the first one because it was scratched and scuffed up a lot and did not look new. Though the green light did come on the other lights did not. The manual is difficult but once I figured it out it still would not work well. The SECOND replacement timer was also scratched and scuffed up and none of the lights would come on at all... not worth the hassle or money~! Returned both :(

I only gave this 4 stars because while the actual time is great, the instructions and ease of use are terrible. If you order this understand that it will take some time to set up, and learn how to use. After I used it for a few days it got easier however. You have to set the time for hours, minutes and seconds, and then for when you want the yellow light to come on, and how long you want the yellow light to stay on before the timer goes off and if you want a sound when the time is up or not.

If I could give this one hundred stars I would. I work with middle school students with autism. The timer we were using before was a magnetic one, which I liked because it stuck up on the board, but when it went off it sounded like a kitchen timer. My sound sensitive students were constantly checking it in fear of the loud sound that was coming. I felt so badly that I decided to drop the money for this little gem and it's been worth every penny. I set it at 12 minutes for my centers and the green light comes on. I have it set to give a one minute warning, so at that point it gives off a chime and turns to yellow. Five seconds before it goes off it gives off little beeps before it dings and turns red. It's perfect! I also love that the time display is small so students can't stare at it and be distracted by the count-down.Pros:Volume control (From silent on up)Various methods of information input (lights, sounds, timer)Magnet makes it easily accessible (sticks right on my white board.)Pleasant sound (more like chimes)Interesting for the students (Hey, it's a gadget!)Easy to reset (Turn off, Turn on, Set timer, Set time, Go--green, green, red, red, red)Cons:There is a bit of a learning curve in terms of figuring out how to set and use. I bought this to help my students keep on track during group activities. I've only used it twice so far, but each time the sounds were too soft for my students to hear over their conversations. The lights work but only if the kids are looking at the board. As this was billed as an educational resource I figured that it would work in a normal class setting but unfortunately I'm not really loving it so far. It's not easy to program, it is too quiet, and it is small. I do really like that magnetic capability, however. Sticking it on my whiteboard makes it easier to see for all my students than on a desk where only the kids near it can see it. I would not buy this again, but for the low price I paid I can't really be unhappy about the fact it is more of a toy than a tool.

This is a great timer and is just what I was looking for. I recommend it to others.This timer was just as described. You can easily set it to display the yellow for a fixed amount of time and the green for a different amount of time. You cannot control how long it displays the red. It also can be set to make a sound when it switches from green to yellow and it ticks down in the final seconds before it goes red. Those were all features I liked.I saw that a few other reviewers had trouble with the lights not being bright enough. I don't know if those were defective units or if the batteries were just dead. It's worth noting that this timer has two different battery sets: one for the normal timer/clock aspect that is always being drained (like a watch), and a second set of batteries that are used to light the timer lights and for sound. If the second set of batteries are not there or are dead, the timer still works—it just draws its power from the smaller clock battery, which does not have the juice to light the timer lights well. You'd also drain that clock battery fast because it's not meant to do that job. That might have been the issue for some, or maybe they just had defective units; I don't know.My experience has been positive so far. I recommend this timer to others.

This was originally bought for my wife who is an elementary school teacher, but I've been using it at home for the kids in timing their homework.It worked great the first few times and then the batteries died.Will replace them shortly.

Ich kann sagen es hilft uns allgemein den Alltag zu bestreiten,da meine Tochter ads hat und sehr sehr langsam in allem ist hilft es ihr den Tag schneller zu gestalten!In der Schule darf sie ihn auch einsetzen und es klappt super bin sehr zufrieden 😊
