Gem Master R.I. Liquid 1.81 (Refractive Index liquid 1.81)

So far this seems to work fine. The bottle seems full with no crystals in it I can see (although the dark glass plus the full size wrap around label makes looking at the bottle challenging). Got a good clear RI reading of topaz, with it. Have not yet tested to see if it really allows RIs of up to1.81. Will leave a new review if it peters out lower than that (many liquids that say they go that high, really don't). Mainly I want to say that the dropper is a good one, a different design from the old glass rod type. You get good portion control putting the droplet on the window. The bottle was well packed and no signs of leaks.

Same product as you get from GIA for refractive index investigation.

Liked it came quickly as I was out. I'm a gemologist and use it for gemstone identification.

Product is OK, but bottle doesn't seal right after first use.Carried in luggage, turned the whole box into a powdery mess, zero liquid left.Contacted seller, who says it is my problem, though luck. Not even sympathy. I'd have accepted a discount on a replacement and know it can't travel.Bad product, bad seller. Plenty of similar product on Amazon, eBay or online.
