Helped eliminate my lower back pain for hours of Zoom
I can't compare it with other kneeling chairs but I can certainly say it is very comfortable. I was having alot of lower back pain with Zoom meetings 2 or 3 hours at a time, sometimes 6/day. I had what I thought was a comfortable regular office chair. The day I switched to this kneeling chair my pain got less and now, several months later, i can't even quite remember where the pain was. I sit all different ways on it, sometimes the intended way, but often i put one or both feet on the knee pads and kind of squat which, oddly, is also very comfortable, and on zoom appears the same as a regular chair. I had thought i would alternate with my regular office chair but i have not used that at all since I got this. I am in my sixties and not particularly agile or flexible and don't have a stong core.Update Nov 2022Still loving this chair now since Feb 2021. I use it every day for Zoom 2-5 hours/day, and now also for violin playing at home. No apparent wear and tear on the chair (and little on me!) I had developed more back pain which according to recent PT visit actually came from irritated nerves in my neck, from violin playing sitting in a regular chair. With this chair it is totally relieved. Amazing! I am considering ordering a second one as it is heavy and big to carry up and down stairs but I would use it both places.

You want wheels!
I've been using this now for about 2 weeks and was hoping for some hip and back pain relief. So far so good. I looked at quite a few of these and read many reviews before purchasing and can tell you that the wheels that this one comes with seem to me like a must have. Most don't have them and only rock. I was worried about that with my dog often laying against my chair during the day and the chance of rocking back on her paw or leg, not good. I use the wheels often to readjust my position and really can't imagine liking the chair much without them.It was super easy to put together and came with the little Allen wrenches to do the jobThe first couple of days I could feel my mid back getting tired but now that seems to have gone away. I do alternate between sitting in this chair and standing with my adjustable desk and it seems to be a good combo and has helped my overall stiffness after working.I give it 4 stars versus 5 based on the fact that the material on the leg rest is a little wearing on your skin after a while but going between sitting and standing helps alleviate that a lot.If it holds up, I could see myself using this thing for a long time.If you're looking at a kneeling chair, I would highly recommend getting one with wheels to be able to adjust your position.

Good, but it needs to raise higher.
Decent build quality, but the piston doesn't raise the seat as high as I want/need for the relief I need. I don't feel much different in my hips from a normal chair as I would expect.

Perfect for my 6th grader doing online school
I kept finding my son curled up in the office chair. Or he'd have his feet in the chair either under him or in front of him. Basically, he was spending a good chuck of his day curled up in a ball. A person's spine is not meant to spend most of it's day shaped like the letter C. I remembered from my childhood that a friend had a kneeling chair. After a bit of searching, I found a neat one that rocked but right before buying it I noticed that it was one height fits all. Our desk doesn't have an adjustable height. I found this less pretty and non-rocking one but it has an adjustable height. The wheels are helpful on our laminate floors.I bought the one with the actuator for adjusting the height. This helps because when I use the seat, I raise it higher, which seems weird but it's more based on the length of your legs than your height. My son sits upright with a straight back.We still have the regular office chair so he can switch back and forth, but he doesn't seem to want to. It's been two weeks and he only uses this new kneeling chair. He said it's Poggers.

Height adjustment too sensitive, Not enough padding.
Two dings on this chair: 1. The gas lift cylinder adjustment is too sensitive. When you pull the height adjustment handle it requires very little movement on the handle and then you drop to the bottom of the adjustment range. You get used to the sensitivity in a while, but the next time you sit in the chair and make an adjustment you essentially have to re-learn the sensitivity. 2. Not enough padding on the seat and knee pads. There's only 2 inches of padding, so after sitting for about 20 minutes your knees are pushing on the solid base of the knee pad and your butt is sore. I can only sit in the chair for about 30-40 minutes before I have to get out of the chair. Nowhere near the regular chair replacement I was looking for.

Why did I wait?!
Great chair for the price!Chair was easy to put together and has definitely helped alleviate sciatica pain. I'm 5 ft 1in, and the chair seat and knee pad were fine. I love that the seat height is adjustable, so I can move it to different tables/counters as needed. It's a little tricky to eat while using this chair, so just be careful if you do!However, like ALL chairs or work positions, it's recommended that you get up and stretch every so often.

Pick this chair if you are short.
I bought this kneeling chair to improve my posture while sitting and using the computer for long hours. Do not ignore the fact that other reviewers advise this is the best kneeling chair for those of us in the shorter stature category. The first chair I purchased I decided form over function looked better. I learned through discomfort that the seat must be tilted forward at all times and the pad for the knees must be close enough to provide the correct pressure. A kneeling chair takes some getting use to, however, it alleviates the back and neck pain of my normal chair.
