Review no. 48. I've said it before and I will say it again - way too many release to keep track of anymore. As I've never even come across this must-own Def Leppard live 2-CD / DVD box set - until maybe a month or so ago. Just look at the irresistible asking price. You get nineteen songs recoded live + five more - three of those are new tracks. Couldn't get enough of "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)", the powerhouse "C'mon C'mon" (you don't hear this song every day), an old MTV favorite by many "Too Late For Love", the heartfelt "Foolin'", the rocking "Nine Lives" and their superbly-covered David Essex gem "Rock On". Then there's disc two with the late Steve Clark-penned "Switch 625", "Armageddon It", the timeless "Rock Of Ages", the ass-kicking "Let's Get Rocked" and their cover of The Sweet's "Action". Sound mix and fidelity here are simply top rate. Disc three is a must-see DVD with two hours of assorted segments of mostly live performances but also with some interviews. Essential.

Excellent

This is the first Def Leppard album I have purchased and it just rocks from start to finish. Its the only live album they have put out. This is significant because Def Leppard is at their best live. They are now in my top three favorite bands of all time. A few days after buying this I saw them in concert. WHEW!! I can honestly say that this album gives you the full experience. Plus lots of great videos and clips in the DVD. It also includes three new studio songs that are going to be part of their next album. Loved those as well. If you wanna get ROCKED buy this and turn it up!!

This is the official 1st live record of this remarkable english band that reigned the Pop/Rock charts during the 85-90 period, just before Grunge music takes over. The Mirrorball live set list includes a good selection of the band's early catalog with such anthems like Rock ¡ Rock ¡ (till you drop) & Foolin', among other highlights, besides there's 3 new songs (Undefeated, Kings of the world, It's about time) that flow in the Leppard's recenly musical vibe: more cool down because of the members new "healthy way of life". The "more" of this package is a DVD that chronicles the Sparkle Lounge Tour 2008-2009. A must See & Hear cd/dvd combo.

If you are a Def Leppard fan, especially live, then Mirrorball would be a great addition to your collection. With greatest hits and multiple venues. I really enjoy this rare live album. I have been a fan since 1982 and they still thrill me. The live music reminds me of the concerts. Definatly a good spend!

The album to own!With that said don't ask me how but first time playing them fresh out of the plastic wrap a track skipped bad on one record - maybe it's my player, but it plays everything else fine. I've only played two tracks out of the 3 albums. Bummed me out so I said F it.A 5 star album. I'm just rating the album. The digital download works so I always have that.

This long and awaited for record is definately worth it. The live side of Leppard is the best way to experience the band. Hearing them on a CD is great but when you can listen to what they do live and it's on vinyl you get a whole different feel. This is so worth having especially if you still can enjoy the vinyl version. Any Leppard fan or if you're just beginning to get into this band definately needs a copy of this.
