Fixed my problem with toner on right edge of everything I printed.

I have a 5 year old HP laser printer (non color} and an ink smudge began to appear on the right edge of print-outs. The toner cartridge was good and all attempts to clean the printer had no effect. I had replaced toner cartridges before but had never tried replacing an imaging drum. However I ordered the CF32A drum unit, pulled out the old toner cartridge, pulled out the old imaging drum, inserted the new drum and then reinserted the used toner cartridge. Easy. Print quality is excellent.

This is NOT compatible with the HP Laserjet pro mfp m227fdw. Put it in and it says "can not communicate with drum" but replace it with the old one and and no problems other than it still needs to be replaced.

I realized I had been using the original Drum that came in the HP LaserJetPro printer I bought years ago. I was having trouble with black blotches of toner on the edges of my documents. The new Drum took care of the problem! And it was a fraction of the price of an HP Drum.

Easy to use and very compatible with my printer

This drum unit really drums. I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why my pages looked like they had brush marks along the rim. There didn't seem to be a rhythm to it. I wondered if the seller of the used printer had caught me in a snare. I was about to crash when my friend Tom noticed symbols on a piece inside, that I was able to look up online. They led me to this drum unit. I am floored by how well it works. I could almost kick myself.
