Tuscany Classics Stemless Glass Set, Buy 4 Get 6, 2.6 LB, Clear

This is the second set of 6 Lenox stemmed cocktail glasses I have ordered from Amazon. We had broken 3 from the earlier order (from a number of years ago) and have liked them so much that we wanted to have extras on hand. Both orders arrived promptly and were well packaged and in perfect condition. These are elegant stemware, delicate in appearance but generally sturdy. A clarification of the product description at the Amazon web site is in order. The stated capacity per glass is 8 ounces. That amount is when filled to the brim. I am satisfied with a 6 once martini or manhattan and the maximum that should be put in one of these glasses is 7 oz. It is easy to find larger glasses but I find them excessively large and they take up too much storage space and are more prone to breakage. If wants a larger drink, do a refill.

These are beautiful. And surprisingly inexpensive. The little dimple in the bottom of the glass set them apart. These are perfect.

I had a set of Mikasa glasses that were my absolute favorite. I have tried others but these are the first ones that have come pretty close. Pros: They have a flatter bottom to keep them from tipping over. The size is perfect for bubbly. Cons: The divots in the bottom of the glass, when put in the dishwasher, end up holding water. Not a big deal. I would totally recommend these. Would make a great gift paired with your favorite bottle of bubbles.

These are very nice Lenox crystal martini glasses. They have a nice, balanced feel and are a comfortable height. The glass is super clear with a thin, but not too thin, rim. One of the six glasses was broken. This was a last minute purchase before a party so I didn't have time to request a replacement - so if you can, plan ahead as others have suggested...just in case. I definitely recommend them.

With a slightly flatter bottom base, those glasses do NOT knock over as easily as other stemless flutes, yet still look classy and nice.

The glasses are exactly like they are described. One of them arrived with a broken stem. I contacted them and they immediately sent me a whole new set without the need to return the other glasses. The new set arrived the very next day and none were damaged.

These wine glasses are very nice! I was impressed by the quality of the crystal and the comfort of the stem. The glass holds a good volume of wine and there is plenty of room for swirling and aeration. The wine cascades nicely into the mouth and the thickness of the glass is perfect. They are very versatile and seem to be holding up well when hand-washed. (Due to the extreme heat, I do not wash my crystal glasses in the dishwasher). Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

These Lenox Tuscany branded stemless flute glasses (and other almost identical ones previously available by other companies such as Marks & Spencer a few years ago, et al.) I believe were/are originally manufactured by Slovakian brand Rona, as their mostly dimpled-bottom and mostly stemless commercial "Wine Solution" range of tumbler-esque style drinks glasses (rona.glass/collection/wine-solution) under item number "4245_230" or "4245 0700" called "Champagne flute 07", or as part of their consumer "Drink Master" range (rona.glass/collection/drink-master) under item number "4221_230". However, these subsequent ones are now seemingly all Chinese made (as per the box and sticker on each glass). Either way, they're great and quite unique champagne flutes, whether for Champagne itself or other sparkling wines like Prosecco, Cava, or English sparking wines from the likes of Chapel Down, etc. The bottom of each glass is weighted slightly, so while they are very lightweight, they should stay upright reasonably well – though again, they are now lighter on the bottom than my original Slovakian ones from M&S (100-120 grammes now, vs. 150-170 grammes on previous ones). The glass here is super thin-walled, with a lip that's almost invisible, making them quite elegent to drink from, but pretty fragile, so you may want a few spares as they're likely to get broken over the longterm! While this sounds negative, this is merely the nature of virtually ALL flute glasses, given their delicate and somewhat precarious design by their very nature (stemmed or otherwise), and not really a problem here as they're really very affordable compared to something like Waterford cut crystal glasses or simillar. Being stemless is clearly these ones raison d'être and main appeal here, as obviously most sparkling wine flutes have long stems which all too easily get knocked over by the slightest touch. So having stemless glasses means one can put the flute down without such spilllages and fewer breakages much more readily. These particular stemless flutes also have the nice addition of a simple dimple on their bottom, as can be seen in the images. This feature allows for two things. Firstly, one can simply hold the glass near the bottom with a finger or thumb to help secure it in hand when carrying around at parties and suchlike. Secondly, and mainly, the dimple is designed to aid the pouring of sparking wine, so it can be poured quicker and straight into the glass without the bubbles pouring over as easily. The reason I like these the most of all the stemless flutes out there I've seen, is the size is just right. The sides slope elegantly inwards from bottom to top, making the drinking experience more pleasurable and like their stemmed cousins. But also, the actual size of these is just right, as others I've seen are typically bigger, wider, and larger than these, which makes them look worse, or they're simply straight-sided, which is much less elegant and less pleasant to drink from. Finally these are stickered as dishwasher safe and break resistant, which while probably true, I personally still find them as breakable as all flutes and simply hand wash and dry them, as I tend to not use a dishwasher anyway. As for shipping, I bought them on Amazon UK marked as sold directly by Amazon US themselves for approx. GBP 7.50 per glass (GBP 45 per 6-pack), and they managed to ship in under 2-weeks without any breakages as each glass comes wrapped in its own protective sleeve. Definitely recommended.

I bought this same set in the US for $49 USD. So this Canadian dollar price is lower than the current exchange rate. They are lovely to hold and have a thin lip which I find essential in any glass but especially in wine and martini glasses. Ahh.. But to go ahead and jump on the inflation bandwagon, these 4 cocktail glasses now retail for $100 Canadian. Lucky me! And I found the whole set, each with a different whimsy etched into it, at a Thrift store. Price? $16 CDN!!
