I've used big brand name battery testers for over 3 decades now. Other than ridiculously high purchase prices, I've never given any thought to them. They just work. I have used this battery tester a number of times. Works great.

This is a pretty good product but it does not actually test 6 volts like the ad says it does it had to return it. I was specifically looking for a tester that does capacitance testing on 6 volt batteries. I would rate it at five stars for a 12 volt battery.

The unit has not provided a option to test 6vdc batteries. I returned the product with a not as described complaint. However I liked the unit. It appears to be built with an ABS shell made for abuse in mind. Unit power is provide by the battery under test. It has a 15 pin connector that supports a specially made cable for the battery connection. It comes packed in a very nice case with all the parts. The instruction is poor and does not mention any way to apply future firmware upgrades. The display is nice and the printer is designed well with reloading easily done. I gave it 4 stars because it worked well but failed to work on 6vdc golf cart batteries.
