LAFVIN 4DOF Acrylic Robot Mechanical Arm Claw Kit compatible with Arduino IDE DIY Robot with CD Tutorial

Great project for kids wanting to learn to code.

Where do I begin. This product was such a waste of time and money that I would've watched the entire twilight series.1. The very thin base broke into multiple pieces making everything else useless.2. The only instructions that they give you are on a DVD disc which people hardly have on computers now these days and you'll most likely be on the internet trying to figure out how to build the damn arm which will become useless when the base or anything else breaks. The only thing that is worth the money is the modules that they give you for the brains of the arm.I truly wish that whoever wasted their money on this gets something back from it as this shouldn't even be on Amazon out of all websites.

I love this very challenging. And a great way to start coding. Now the instructions aren't the most clear. So make sure to pay attention to peice orientation

This little robot is fun to build, and works well with Arduino software. My only complaints are similar to others, the plastic this robot is a little brittle and the base piece I received had a crack in it, luckily this did not effect the build. The only other issue was that it appeared that some of the holes and possibly the screws were missing or incorrect size (either that or the instructions need to be tweaked). Otherwise this is a great kit especially for the money, I even went on to add additional sensors to the arm.

Every thing came in the kit but the LAVVIN brand Arduino board is bad. I replaced it with a true Arduino Uno and it worked. they even added extra screws for the one you will kose putting it togeather. But the new Arduino uno will cost you.

i only have on major complaint. but ill cover all my minor gripes first. first off the materials for the arm are rather flimsy. i haven't even removed them form their frames yet and they feel almost like cardboard. though it comes with the instructions and installation, i unfortunately had to look it up to find the manual for the kit i bought. packing a cd isn't reealy that viable anymore, BUT i am aware of that and i was already working with Arduino to begin with. but now to my main complaint, to be fair i should have expected that with a slightly cheaper kit. But i am missing 2 servos from the kit. I NEED the 4 to control the arm. i would request a refund but i can;t be bothered. i will be taking more care when ordering here again.

After the build it worked pretty much as expected. Bow to program it to do something! Happy building!
