These Blocking Bags Don't Last Forever
When I bought this several years ago, I assumed it would last forever. It worked fabulously, and I am very glad I bought it, even though it is quite expensive for such a small piece of fabric. However, just recently, I thought I lost my keys and on an impulse, I tried to open my car. Much to my dismay, it opened immediately. There were my keys, IN the Faraday bag on the seat. So, when I retrieved them, I closed everything up and put the key fob in the bag, not five feet away, and the car door opened immediately. I have no idea how long this has gone on, and now I'm glad I discovered it, because I'm buying a new one (AND a spare). So be aware that these have to be replaced. Someone here said theirs lasted only a month and a half. I used to test mine periodically, so I know it lasted for at least two years. I've had it for almost four years, and can't say exactly when it went south. So this is not an indictment of the product -- it's great -- but a caveat to all buyers that it doesn't last forever.

It works well, but the stitching started coming out as soon as i started using it (just on a tabletop, not in my pocket), so although it does an effective job of blocking signals, it is falling apart after a month of very gentle use.

Very Effective RF Blocker
I bought a 2015 Mustang, and although it's a manual, and less likely to be a target because of that, I was aware that thieves could easily steal my car because of the passive RF signal being sent out at all times by the latest Ford key designs.I tested this bag multiple ways. First was the keyless entry from a distance. I was unable to unlock it, or lock it, or open the trunk. The bag blocked the signals.Second was the proximity keyless entry. On many new cars, you put your hand in the door handle with the key in your pocket, and it unlocks. With the key in my pocket, but still in the bag, the door would not unlock. Additionally, the push-button locking mechanism on the door handle, which works on the same principle as the unlock, did not work. Finally, I got in my car, put the key in the bag, and attempted to start the car. The car would not start, and the dashboard message clearly said "Key Not Detected."This bag effectively blocks all RF signals. If you have heard of car thefts in your area, especially newer models, and are worried your vehicle may be susceptible to this kind of attack, I recommend this bag for both your personal keys, and your spare keys.

This stopped working quickly
This originally worked when I purchase it. I am careful to seal the velcro tightly, but as of about a month ago, it stopped working. I can open the car door with the sealed key in my purse, and start the car. Question to mfg: Is it normal for the fabric to wear down quickly? The velcro still has a tight seal. Thank you.

It works, just arrived today and tested it out. The only problem is it's kind of small. Fits my key fob with my door key attached just fine, not enough room in the bag for a larger "decorative" key chain. This is fine for the spare key I keep at home as I can just put the key fob in there as all that is attached to it is a spare door key and I can unhook my fancy key chain from my other key fob when necessary, so no biggie. It's a little pricy for something so small, but it does the job and and it is well stitched, etc. Frankly, I probably won't use it every single time I run an errand, but will definitely use it when I am going to be sitting in a restaurant or a movie theater, or working out at a gym as these establishments, especially the latter two, are the big targets in our area, probably the same in yours. And it's not a myth that thieves can get into your car via an electronic device, they are always a step ahead of us. Bah humbug.

Worked very well at first, but if you carry it with you, eventually it starts to break down and signal leaks. Lasted maybe a month and a half. HA dI kept it on the wall at home or something, then it would probably last much longer.

Nice Bag
This bag really works to block my electronic car key. I tried it out by putting my electronic key in the bag and standing right next to my car. It blocked the signal completely. There is a burglar that has been breaking into cars with an electronic device, and this bag will protect my Mercedes from being burgled/stolen by a thief that is using an electronic amplifier. The bag itself seems pretty sturdy. The seams are double stitched and the Velcro is quite strong. I wish it had a grommet so that I could attach the bag to my keychain, otherwise it is easy to lose track of when I am carrying packages and need to be able to lock and unlock my car.The bag is the size of a credit card, so I'm sure it would work to protect credit cards, too.

lost strength after two weeks
It worked great initially but then it lost strength. I had to double pouch the keyfob to be effective.
